AUTOart’s recent press release announcing imminent price hikes has once again made this issue a hot topic of conversation for diecast collectors, as have other such increases over the years. AUTOart has become notorious for ever-increasing prices and while it may be commendable that the company gave advance warning this time instead of shocking distributors and consumers alike in years past, their justification for the adjustment simply fails to stand up to fact.
