So recently I got my first ever Exoto at a great price - while the Jaguar is not in my favourite livery (I would love a Silk-Cut Jaguar), I guess I cannot ask for more at this price. Remember to scroll down for the engine details shot. Enjoy the shots!

I started collecting in January of this year and finally have a half decent setup for taking pictures. Unfortunately most everything I own has been posted before (with many having been purchased after seeing them on DX). I haven't seen anyone post the white Autoart Superleggera so thought I'd share a few shots. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage: Not the Usual

Hey just picked this beauty up yesterday and got to work on the wheels right away. Painted gunmetal using Tamiya and im pretty happy with how it turned out. I guess the stock silver wheels didn't justify the car and its stance. Hope you guys enjoy! Pictures didn't turn out so well :(

BMW M3 E92 tuning (kyosho 1:18)

Another M3, this time Kyosho E92. Started with making a spoiler, i couldn't resist to strip the car to replace the seats with something more special...
Here is the stock M3:

And now starting with the front spoiler..

...and then when stripped the car, noticed a great KYOSHO DETAIL.. i could never imagine that...:

in the back seat, you can pull down the middle part, so the passengers can put their hands on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done KYOSHO, that was a great surprise!!!!
.... and then a package came up and there was the new wheels.....

...From M6 Kyosho, great wheels.. I believe they will fit nicely..

The stock seats are history now...

And Recaros are Great.. The only problem is that the M3 brake disks needed some help from dremel to fit on the new wheels from M6, because the centre of M6 wheels is a bit bigger than M3 wheels.. But OK now, the wheels are on the car and work PERFECTLY, steering AND turning!! I lowered the car a little, before re-assembling.. Now i am waiting for some carbon folie for the front spoiler, and maybe work on the tail pipes...

BMW M5

I have been enamoured by the BMW M5 ever since I seen a preview trailer of the car being hammered around the circuit in GT4. Being the fastest production sedan with a V10 engine helped its cause further. I was hoping to get the Maisto version but it just didn't cut it for me. For a halo car (I love this term coined by my friend Gaurav who has joined the forum recently by the id 'guggga') like the M5, I needed a proper model and thanks to the recent import of Kyoshos, I could finally own one. I had infact gone for the Ferrari F40 LW but like explained elsewhere, I have some very twisted logic working for me. Thanks again to all you kind folks who took their time to talk about the F40. I think I shouted 'Wolf' this time. I am sorry.
Back to the M5. Carbon black is black with a tint of blue. Please excuse my poor photography. Had to get the pics on the forum as soon as possible. The car has a nice sheen to it. Paint is well applied. Chrome is really metallic looking. Speaking of chrome, the front grille on the drivers side was misaligned. A PM to Rainer and his very prompt reply (the guy is a genius...just rattled off on how to open the Kyosho up like it is written on the back of his hand. I would have had to go and open my model again if anyone asked me the same thing.) Thanks to Rainer, I could push the grille back into place with a some effort. The interiors are well made, the centre console is a joy to behold. I would have liked the interiors in a lighter shade but then I would be complaining too much. Lights are brilliant, a habit with Kyosho. Brakes are photoetched pieces of metal and so is the bug mesh in the front bumper. Bonnet remains up without any help and the model is supplied with a toothpick like instrument to help open the tight fitting doors and lids. I wish this car came with a moon roof to admire the centre console better. Tires could have been marked but this is probably a lost cause.
Overall I am overjoyed to own this landmark car. Will post some more pics with my other ///M cars soon.
Can you give your opinion? You can base it on the cars I am particularly interested in if that helps...1966 Shelby Cobra 427 (Looking at Franklin Mint and Kyosho)2009 Nissan GT-R (AUTOart and Kyosho)Ford GR-1 (AUTOart)2010 Chey CamaroI just bought a 1:18 AUTOart 2000-whatever Ford Shelby Cobra Concept and am waiting for it to arrive. I also like Jada in terms for the "tricking out" on Dub City. Thanks for your help.

Quick wheel-swap

I never was crazy about the wheel choice on my recently added Welly New Beetle convertible, and I was looking for wheels to spruce up my Welly '62 T1 Bus. Luckily Welly wheels have got to be the easiest to swap out there and this was the result.

Not a raidou result, to be sure, but I'm quite happy with the New Beetle's (more) retro look. The Bus would be better if I could find some way to lower it, but wheels are a start.

Thanks for looking!

Lowering the Minichamps Audi RS4

Hi,

since i have been getting heaps of PMs regarding how to lower the Minichamps Audi RS4 and decided to just make a little tutorial on how to do it.

Step 1

The first step is pretty straight forward. Take the car apart. I suggest getting a thin screwdriver to unscrew the screws that are hidden under the fenders. If you have a thin screwdriver, the screws can be accessed without taking the wheels off, which i dont recommend doing. Once you have the car apart you can put the body away since we only need to work with the chassis. I put the body back in its box.

Step 2

Lowering the rear. This is quite an easy job IF you know what you are doing. It can take a while if you do it the first time, but it will only get easier.

To lower the car, get yourself some styrene tubing (4mm in diameter). Here is a picture of the tubing i bought:

Now lets start with lowering the rear since this is the easiest. Take the stock tires off and push the wheel as far up as you can. Then take a piece of tubing and use it as a spacer to hold the suspension up. Cut the piece of tubing so it forms a C shape. This way you dont need to remove the screw that holds the suspension in place.

Once you're done with that, make sure both sides are level and then the rear is done.

Step 3

Lowering the front. This is the most difficult part. First you have to remove the underbody of the car. The underbody is glued to the chassis AND fixed with 2 extra screws.

This is the part that needs to be removed:

This is where its fixed:

Once you've successfully removed the front underbody you have to take the front axles out. Once the axle is out, shorten the front springs just enough so they dont pull on the 2 front screws, and put the axle back on to see if you are happy with how low it is. I hope this came out clear:P

Now, what i did so the wheels dont drop down everytime you lift the model, is add another spacer in the front, under the wheel:

You don't have to add this, but i find it annoying if the wheels keep dropping down. Also, the front does not need spacers under the suspension screws like we used on the rear.

Once this is done, put everything back where it belongs and put the underbody back on.

Step 4

Changing the tires. This is pretty straight forward. You might have noticed that the stock tires were held on by little plastic things. To fit the new tires, you have to sand those things off with preferably a Dremel or equal power tool. If you dont have power tools you can heat the rim and cut them off with a very sharp knife but that in my eyes is a lot more dangerous.

These are the rims i bought: http://cgi.ebay.de/6-er-Blister-Chromfelgen-Felgen-Tuning-Umbau-1-18-Neu_W0QQitemZ360243404636QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSpielzeugautos?hash=item53e02e1f5c
Take the tires from those rims.

Once the stock wheels are sanded off, they should look like this:

Now just pop the new tires on and check once again if everything turned out nice and level. If you just put the body on the chassis without screwing it on, you can really see if its level or not. If you're happy with the result assemble the car and take some pictures!

If any of the steps came out unclear or you have any problems/questions, feel free to PM me. This is my first tutorial so give me some slack:P If someone is too scared or doesn't want to do this to his RS4, i'd be more than happy to do it for a bit of money:P

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but I've been a collector of 1:18 diecast Porsches for a number of years.

The reason for my posting is I have a 1:18 Minichamp Porsche 904 purchased a few years ago and somehow the model 'lost' the front lower left amber directional light. I've looked everywhere for it but it hasn't turn up.

I then decided to contact the merchant I bought it from - 'Exoto' - but they were of no help to me. In fact, they totally ignored my request and suggested I buy one of their latest models without further comment!

Can anyone help me find a replacement lens or suggest an alternate solution?

Thanks, nyccollector

The Car Room Magazine - we're baaaaack!

Hello, Everyone -

Well, it looks like we're back in the swing of producing The Car Room Magazine again - and it's about time. We've been extremely busy getting every aspect of The Car Room ready, for print, for the web, and for television.

Because we are a small publication - no corporate safety net to fall into - we had to make the decision to follow this path knowing full well that it would bring production of the magazine to a halt for a time. Now that time has passed - and number nine is in full production. Clay Miller is designing, the writers are sending in their text, and we're once again happily burning the midnight oil to bring you the goods. We anticipate the magazine's arrival at your doors to occur in mid-late April, and then every other month after that. Subscribers will get EVERY issue they have coming - and we think that our readers will like what they see. Check this out:

PRINT: More than ever before, the models covered inside the pages will have a direct connection to additional, searchable text and photos on the Car Room web site (a subscriber-only feature, in some cases), and, for "special" cars, we'll have a produced, model-exclusive "Playing With Cars" video ready to watch. Each article will have a link to the videos, when applicable. There will be full-view "fly-bys" of some models, full video reviews of others. A great majority of the cars appearing in print will be models that were featured on "Car Room LIVE!" (Saturdays at 7PM Eastern / www.thecarroom.com/tv), and we will have a show synopsis of every episode, as well as a timeline index, for each of the shows. That will make finding a video review for a specific model you're reading about easy. As always, the photography will be the main attraction, and the text will be geared toward the serious adult collector, and it will include everything from the smallest scales and "impulse" buys to mega-buck museum models. We'll be the same high-quality publication in hand, only now, those printed words and photos will merge with the Internet for a full-on model collecting experience.

INTERNET: The new Car Room Site will grow by the day as we get closer to the finalization of every issue. Thanks to the efforts of Ralph Riccardi and Jeff Glasson, the archived episodes of "Car Room LIVE!" will be available, on demand, in high quality video, with each appearing on our site approximately a week after broadcast. Special, web-only articles will be made available for viewing, with some content being reserved for subscribers only. As we finish episodes of "Playing With Cars", they'll appear on the site, and on our Facebook and Youtube pages. We'll be adding to our "Model Minute" segments, where we'll be reviewing model products and give maintenance and collecting tips (for newbies as well as established collectors). In addition to our existing coverage of industry shows and interviews with people like Chip Foose, Fireball Tim, Tom Daniel and others, we will continue our support of all of the message boards and collector forums that have been so vital to our growth, with cross-links and promotions, announcements, and special events. We also have a few, as yet unannounced tricks up our sleeves (I can't give away ALL the info, LOL!).

But we can tell you this: Thanks to the efforts of Jeff Glasson and Clay Miller, as of this issue, The Car Room Magazine will also be made available as a digital download for subscribers. We just set this up; when it's in full swing, you'll be able to download the magazine to your computer (and iPad, etc.), to enjoy whenever you'd like - in addition to the print version, of course. We will also offer digital-only subscriptions for those readers who wish them, as well as single-issue sales of the magazine in the digital domain. I've been playing with the software for hours, now, and it's pretty amazing - you can even click on text and articles to go to other sites, retailers, and model manufacturers' pages on the web. It's incredible what's available now.

TELEVISION: As you've probably heard, we've been developing a TV show. We're still at it. We realized that in order to reach new collectors, we'd have to expand beyond print - and we are. The focus of the "treatment" has changed to personally include collectors - as well as locations around the country. Ralph Riccardi, Eric Frietas, Mike Zarnock, Jeff Glasson, Frank Quarant, and all of the CRM crew will be featured as we roll forward. Look for some advance clips of the show to appear sometime this Summer. We're extremely pleased with the response we've gotten - and we think that this will go far to bring the hobby we all love out into the American and International public.

Sorry for the long read. It's been a stressful few months, but we know that you'll enjoy the end result. Casey and I have been extremely lucky to have such talented, dedicated friends around us who love The Car Room as much as we do. They have given huge amounts of their time to us, and thanks to them, we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you ALL for being a part of that light.

LONG LIVE THE LITTLE CARS!

Gratefully Yours,

Positive experience dealing with nicecardiecast.com

Hey guys, I just thought I'd share my positive experience, especially nowadays when internet diecast shopping can be a lottery.

Back in February, Nice Car Diecast had a sale offering free shipping in Canada. I bought a Welly Diablo SV - well a friend of mine bought 2, one for him, one for me. My model arrived with the rear bumper scratched badly - deep scratches, the bumper is made from yellow plastic. I contacted Jeff, sent a couple pictures and he offered either an exchange or refund. I did notice on his website that he still has the Sunstar Mk1 Golf Cabriolet and it was some $8 more than the Diablo. I told him I wanted the Golf in exchange and he agreed.
I sent the Diablo back and got the Golf in my hands in less than 3 days and because I sent the Diablo at my own expense, he sent me a credit as well.

I guess it's the fact that it was a straight, no BS transaction and dealing with a responsible Canadian diecast store that made me happy and wanting to let others know as well.

That's all for now.

Hi,

I'd like to start sharing my small collection of construction and mining machinery here. I hope it will be interesting.
For now it is suspended, beause my biggest passion are the BMWs in 1:18 and they are with highest priority at moment. I have about 40-50 CAT models in scales between 1:16 to 1:64 and I'll post them 1 by 1, when I have time to take photos.
The most of the models are in 1:50 by Norscot, but I'll start with something different.

The model has movable metal tracks, very sweet. Hope you will enjoy it! :-)

Minichamps released the little beetle in the form of VW 1300 from 1969 this week.
And though it appeared in the CarCollection line it is full of nice details!
We got used to get low details for much money from Minichamps lately but this is quite the contrary. The average price for it is 50 EUR, I paid 45.

Hey guys,

I thought I would give a heads-up on a ebay posting I stumbled across as some of you are probably looking for this.
$70 USD starting bid for a yellow Subaru Impreza WRX Type R:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Autoart-Auto-Art-SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-TYPE-R-1-18_W0QQitemZ110505736792QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDiecast_Vehicles?hash=item19baa7ba58

Pretty good price, considering I don't see this one often and at this price anymore!

Note: I am not selling the model nor am I associated with the seller in anyway.

Nova SS

I've had this little Nova for a long, long time and finally thought it deserved to be shown off a little. According to the underside of the car it's a 1969/1970 model, and looking at the custom hood, apparently spent some time with Baldwin Motion. Still, it's got the plain-brown-paper-bag-with-a-big-motor character that I like with muscle cars. Don't get me wrong, I like my Challies and Cudas, but the other muscle/pony cars got a bit weird lookin' after '68 if you ask me.

That's why I was attracted to the simplicity of this Nova's lines, and then later fell in love with the tri-tone paint that I didn't actually know was tri-tone until some while after purchase. It's the plainly attractive little number that offsets my "LOOK AT ME" Saturn Yellow GSX.

The model itself isn't really anything to write home about, but it seems pretty decent for the $20 or so it commanded, and as with virtually every "Johnny Lightning" release came with the super cool Torque Thrust wheels which is always a plus (for me).

My very first Audi dealer edition arrived yesterday, a Sepang Blue R8 V10. This one is quite popular and it doesn't take long to see why. Gorgeous paint, sleek looks and fantastic details. Kyosho really knows how to make a diecast. The exterior has the smoothest finish I have ever seen. Even from two inches away the interior still looks and feels like the real thing.

Please excuse the hurried photos, I'll do a proper shoot outside soon.

Hi, there. I have noticed that there is a good number of very helpful collectors from the Toronto area. Does anyone know any Costco locations that still sell Maisto 1/18's for $14-$15? I am looking for a Gallardo Spyder and Superleggera, and maybe an Audi R8 if it's done well. Thanks for the help!

My Grandparents' Story

While a die-cast forum may not be the best means for my end, I feel the story of my maternal grandparents needs to be told:

Both my grandfather and grandmother (Opa and Oma to us grandkids) were born into German-speaking farming families in Ukraine (in Josefstaal and Marienfeld, respectively – both not far from Dnepropetrovsk). We know very little about their early lives, but what we do know is that their world was turned upside down for the first time likely in their teens. When Stalin took over from Lenin he forcibly collectivized all the farms of the USSR, including the very productive and fertile Ukrainian “breadbasket”. Following records, I can probably safely assume my maternal great-grandfathers were simply shot. Oma’s mother died a short time later, either from a Soviet gunshot or of starvation from the massive famine that followed. A great aunt has said that the Red Army literally “swept the floor” of their vegetable and grain cellars. With no parents, amid a devastating famine, Oma was sent to live with another family. The last thing they needed was another mouth to feed, and I do not want to begin to think about how she must have been treated.

Details of the next few years are fuzzy, but we do know towards the end of the ‘30s Opa and Oma met, married, and would eventually have 3 children. But fate had more cruel twists in store.

As Hitler’s armies invaded the USSR Opa was able to dodge the Red Army draft twice . He was passed over the first time for an injured foot; later as the army got desperate he hid in a hay cart. He remembered seeing tines of pitchforks thrust all around him by the Army – in an astonishing stroke of luck they missed.
Eventually the German armies were able to take Ukraine, and as my ancestors lived in German-speaking communities they were largely ignored. This came to be a double-edged sword.
As the Red Army pushed the Germans out, they came across pockets of German-speakers. Obviously this was not popular with the army, and they were forced to leave the USSR, with only what they could carry. Their destination was Germany. From what we can discern (as none of my ancestors talk about what happened) this exhausting forced trek took them into Poland where most of the little they had was taken. All three (very, very young) children died somewhere along the road. Opa, Oma and their families spent a few months in a makeshift refugee camp, until the continued Soviet advance forced them to decide: risk crossing into Germany or stay in the USSR.

Those that stayed have never been heard from (although one great uncle eventually popped up in Orenburg after a stint in Siberia, apparently). Trying to settle in Germany c. 1944 couldn’t have been easy. To Germany they were still Soviets but to the Soviets they were Germans. Nevertheless they were able to eke out a living. Opa became a truck driver (we found his 1944-issue license, Swastika and all) and they had another daughter not long after the war ended. Still, they felt like outsiders and were living in a battered country, which is why they came to Canada in 1952 – shortly after the arrival of their second daughter.

Even this couldn’t have been remotely easy. They landed in Halifax and went west for thousands of kilometers, into more flat and more desolate land. There’s not much here in southern Alberta now, never mind 50+ years ago. Luckily there was a sizable German population already here – my city was host to a massive POW camp, and many of them simply never left. Opa, Oma and their two daughters were able to find (grueling) work on sugar beet farms, and Opa eventually got into driving cement trucks, a job he did with great pride until his late retirement. So much pride, in fact, he’d never a leave a job until it was done, lest they mess up “his” concrete. They had a third daughter (my mom) while living in a small town 20 minutes from where we live now. Opa worked hard to provide for his family and they had a good life.

What is most remarkable about Opa and Oma is not what they went through, but with their attitude. They were never, ever bitter about any of it and never expected any special treatment, sympathy, or reparations. They both had a wonderful sense of humor and simply loved life. Opa’s antics are legendary. He showed up at gatherings wearing dresses more than a few times and stole the show every Halloween. As their daughters grew and married they were able to travel a little, getting out to Hawai’i, Vegas, and visiting other family in California.

Unfortunately by the time my sister and I came along they were simply getting old and slowing down. We never got the chance to see their vim and vigor, but the stories were plenty. And I don’t think anyone could possibly love us grandkids more than they did. Oma’s body eventually fell apart around her, as did Opa’s (though his sense of humor never really dulled at all).

Oma passed in 2005, Opa in 2009. I can’t even say it was as much sad as it was...relieving. Now they’re able to take the rest they’ve so deserved .
Thank you very, very much for reading. As I’ve stated, I think it’s a story that really needed to be told, and I’m in a position to tell it.

I've decided that rather than go for an inferior 1:18 Hot Wheels product, to go all in for my favorite car of all time. So that means going up a scale, and shelling out some big cash. But first, a few questions for my fellow DXers...

Are there any DXer's that have seen it up close at any trade shows?
Is it really worth the price?
Has anyone had any dealings/issues with the seller?
Should I worry about supply vs. demand on this one, it's going to take some time to save $$$ (release says July).
OR should I hold out hope for a GMP/Kyosho or other high end 1:18?
I'm really looking to add one in 2010, and would like some feedback as it's quite an expensive purchase, and I don't make those lightly.

This is almost all of my collection as it stands right now, with a few pieces coming in still. Unfortunately the "man cave" is undergoing a remodel so I am currently using some el cheapo bookshelves to display my collection. And as you can see I am still developing my photography skills.
First off the mustang section

Next a Mercury Cyclone, Rebel Machine and two Torinos

And some Mopars Challenger, GTX, Super Bee, 330 and Charger

Norev BMW M6 E63 AC Schnitzer Estoril Blue 1:18H

Here is another tuner BMW from me. For base I used Norev BMW AC Schnitzer Tension. Than the model was disassembled. Body was sandblasted and primed, than I painted it in Estoril Blue (BMW #335 paint) with airbrush and applied clear coat for finish. I also replaced the original plastic brakes with Kyosho metal ones. I just cust the plastic disc so that I left with a little ring, which was glued on the metal disc. That means that the new discs fit the same way as the original ones and the wheels still spin. All the rest is stock, since the car already had AC Schnitzer Bodykit. BTW, car now has new french plates - X32 IARO (HINT: read it in mirror) front white, rear yellow. It comes from Minichamps and is printed on quality photo paper which was than sprayed with clear coat.

I decided to sell this car in order to start on new project. Here is the ebay link: BMW M6 E63 ACS Estoril Blue

Ferrari F40 LW

I have been a out of touch for the hobby for some time now and only occasionally replying on topics. While I visit the forum everyday and read almost every topic (and would love to reply to all), I am sometimes lost in the discussions since we don't get to see, forget hold. 95% of the stuff that is available in the west or even in the far east. Finally somethings are going to change around here and we Indians collectors should be in the thick of the action.
If all goes as planned, I should be getting my Kyosho F40 LW by this weekend. I would have loved the regular street version but the LW is the only one coming here and I would rather get that or repent not having a proper F40 in the collection. So help me guys...is the LW more desirable than the normal car and if so, why? I knew nothing of the car till Kyosho introduced it. I seen AS-GTRs thread on the F40LW and was quite happy that it will be a proper F40. I would love your feedback and thanks in advance.

Anyone know where this part belongs on the model?

The time has come for me to return to the ranks of members.
Various reason have gone into this decision but the biggest reason is that I am just not very connected to the 1:18 portion of the hobby.
I am not putting the effort into the site that I feel the role of administrator deserves. I have asked Justin to remove my name from the staff effective immediately.

Honestly I never thought I would ever be back on the staff in the first place
Those of you that have been here along time know why

Many thanks for all the trust, help and friendship shown to me by all the staffers and members, past and present.
Looking forward to my new role as a member.

Who Makes the best 1:18 scale BMW Z8?

My neighbour just came home this weekend after a long trek down to the United States with a pristine 2000 BMW Z8! What an absolutely gorgeous car that I honestly almost forgot existed. I know that there were very few 1:1's produced but am wondering who made the most accurate 1:18 replica? I am sure that there were a number of manufacturers (Hot Wheels, Maisto, Kyosho and maybe others (?)) that replicated this beautiful car.

Any photographic help from fellow member would be greatly helpful
Thank you

Kyosho Ferrari F40 Light Weight - Red

So last month I picked up a Ferrari F40 LW and it put a great smile on my face when I was taking shots of it. While the F40 is every bit a great car the model is a perfect presentation of such a great piece of history.

in my opinion it is the very best Kyosho available in the market ( of course I stand corrected) and I am loving every bit of it.

I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Very revealing tidbit re: AUTOart and Exoto

So I'm checking Google Analytics data for the site this morning, something I haven't done in quite some time. This data is collected each time a page is veiwed on DX and can tell you a million different things about the visit and the visitor, including where he's from, how long he stays on the site, where he was refered from, his browser, OS, search engine - you name it Google Anayltics will tell you what you want to know.

So I check the top search engine terms that brought people to DX over the last 30 days.

bmw m6 alpine white 1/18 scale,
otto 1:18 model cars,
2010 diecast fair,
diecast forum,
remove decal diecast,
guilloy chrysler altantic,
autoart loose door ,
kyosho bmw m3 csl,
exoto problems,
1/12 minichamps mclaren f1

Two out of the top 10 terms involve AUTOart and Exoto problems! Can you believe that! And people say we're making this stuff up!

I have an idea: Since so many people are coming here with problems from those two, what do you guys think of having links in the header of the site to direct those visitors to a basic self-help topic on how to deal with those issues?

Best to watch in high def; I wish for less music and more engine noise. Can't wait for the AUTOart Zonda!

Where to buy 1/18 BBS rims?

Hi guys I am new to this forum.

Just started collecting 1/18 diecast model cars a few months ago.... Currently have the autoart ccx, cgt, gt3, and murcielago. Also have a slr that was a gift from my dealer. And a burango reventon.
I also ordered a veyron from autoart that is currently being modifed by modell-lichtsysteme (you can find it on youtube). What are the top quality die cast car brands you guys recommend? Anyways heres my introduction, lol.

Back to topic, would anyone happen to know where can I find those 1/18 BBS style wheels? Ones with good qualities that I can put on my collection.

BTW is it confirmed that kyosho will re-release the m3 e46 in new metallic colours, specifically the phoenix yellow?

Thanks.

Wanted: 1/43 Minichamps case

Hi All,

I'm after one or two 1:43 minichamps display cases (the plastic transparent cover with the black plastic base). I order a model through Ebay and the case came cracked and the guy supposedly sent me a replacement which never showed. Any help would be great.

Cheers

SSC Ultimate Aero

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether there is a 1:43 scale SSC Ultimate Aero on the cards by any of the better model companies?

I've been a collector for a short period of time and have started by collecting the "fastest production cars" through time since the year of my birth and the SSC is the only one I'm missing so any info would be appreciated.

Cheers
