Would anyone like me to give my first impressions/do a review of the KK scale Ferrari 365 California?
jazzy426im planning on getting it as soon as the superamerica hits the store. plan to get them all at one shot to save on postage... But from my personal past experience with the KK-Scale's BMWs I dont think you can go wrong with the reasonable asking price

///M meisterIf you want to know a little bit more about it I've done the review thingy: http://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/topic/198425-my-take-on-the-kk-scale-ferrari-365-california/

Sorry for being on a hiatus folks. Lots of big things going on in my life (mostly positive). I haven't even bought any model these last six months! Slowly getting back into the game, and I hope to participate better in the forums.

My feel good company is Norev. They make diecast models that 85% of the time opens, has decent levels of detail of cars that Otto usually make sealed for around the same prices. I also like getting Dealer Edition Models from China as they are often even cheaper, but have higher levels of detail that most AUTOart, PMA & diecast Kyosho models. Greenlight as well, when the QC is right. What makes you feel good about this hobby?
Absolutely terrible news coming out of Colombia at the moment. A plane carrying a Brazilian soccer club has crashed en route to the grand final of a huge South American soccer competition.
///M meisterHorrible, it kinda reminds me of the Man utd Busby babes team that died in a plane crash in the late 1950s. RIP

ironsimTerrible...That reminds me the Russia hockey team 5 years ago, with Pavol Demitra...

sennagtsOnly 3 players survived out of the 22 on board. Very famous Brazilian journalists and commentators were also killed. Unfortunately many of the club's executives were also killed. It was supposed to be the biggest game in the club's history.

AUTOart Carrera GT or yellow Diablo 6.0? I can get them for 120 euro each. I collect both brands, so help me decide :)

Rafael OliveiraLamborghini is my favorite brand out of the two but go for the Carrera GT, I think the 6.0 is the worst looking of all the Diablo range and you can get it for cheaper, so get the Carrera GT first and find a better deal on the Diablo later ;)

AutobahnSame here, Sam. To make matters worse, someone hit the back of my car at the supermarket and left a scratch in my bumper. The guy who takes out my dents and does micro body repairs is going to get to know me really well. Grrrr...

Is the HWE Ferrari 410 Superamerica as impressive in person as it looks in photos?
. . .I'd say it is OK. I don't like the wheels, and under body. It could/should be better.
Nov 28 2016 09:03 AM
RetroclassicsIt is a well executed model imo, however the one I owned suffered from paintrash. Nonetheless it's a model worth adding.
Nov 28 2016 11:40 AM
///M meisterThanks for the replies guys, it's not a car I'm desperately lusting after, but it looks very good and there is a seller on amazon who has the deep red one for £49.95, I think it's definitely worth buying at that price.

To those who have a Nikon, Jpeg fine or RAW? Im wondering if its worth it to shoot raw if my setups are already good for the light and environnement I use...and converting RAW to JPEG keeps the same quality or not?
Stirling_MossOK, but why buy a Nikon when it's only to take pictures you could make with a smartphone instead. If you seriously want to make a "better image" use the capabilities of your camera fully
Who buys a shifter car to drive in first gear only?????
RAW all the way. No need to buy LR/PS as all postprocessing can be done in Camera RAW
Nov 28 2016 09:07 AM
ironsimI will try, but converting the NEF file to a JPEG doesnt reduce the quality right?
Nov 28 2016 12:18 PM
Stirling_Mossit does reduce the quality as it is compressing the pixels of the image by taking average color for surrounding pixels which results in smaller file size
