My treat for Christmas is unfortunately damaged.

Opened it up this morning, seemed perfectly wrapped, no obvious impact damage.

Imagine my surprise to see the issue with the rear screen - looks like it has taken a bash at the bottom right which has cracked it and then caused the left side to become unstuck.

Will write them an email. I'm assuming they will send a replacement.

Holy cow. Keep seeing this and OTTOmobile is removing itself from the shopping list.
It takes a special character to send a model out like this.

I hate moments like this. Luckily, it doesn't appear to be to difficult to repair after a replacement parts arrive.

I got a damaged BMW M5 from them (I ordered two, one was fine the other one was not) they sent me another one & told me to keep the damaged one I had, the replacement they sent was rubbish too, so they refunded me. In the end I got three cars for the price of one.

Good luck with it.

We'll see what happens. Have sent an email, apparently on holiday until 30th December (fair enough).

Glad to hear they're sending out the part.  If the car came standard with M-parallels, I'd be all over it.

I feel the same way. Rarest of rare rims in use on this car. M Wheels or nicer parallels are seen much more often.
Looks like even a simple wheel swap might turn into a gluing nightmare, so unless I find someone to do it for me, I ain't messing with this one.

I can't bring myself to finally order one. Same with the M5... :bawling:

Yes you should definitely ask for the replacement and they should give the replacement at free of cost.

First time I've been back to my parents since Christmas.

Has the rear window arrived? No it has not.

*fires off another email*

Sigh.

Being sold by CK now for about £65 which isn't much more than buying direct from Otto...makes you wonder.

EDIT: Guess what arrived 1/2 an hour ago in the post! New rear screen attached. Finally sorted.
