my idea was combining the two
however i am going to examine the damage when the model is delivered and make my choice from there
wagon or badboy cause the extreme one did not make the first cut
http://www.sdmodelcartuning.com/
found a site that sells the rims like on the wagon so my choice is made, now all i gotta do is wait until the parts are here!
i sure do, the mailman however seems to be having more trouble with this car than i do so far.....
it has already been 12 days since the seller posted it and still nothing
the yonmeri have the same wheelbase as the coupe too so either sedan or wagon are on the hot list
there is only a mirror on the right side of the car in the box and lots of fragments are missing.
the roof is beyond rescue so i will have to make that from scratch
this is where we are now
wish me luck in saving this old beauty
the windscreen is fine!
that`s a real strike of luck right there
i chose to go vanmeri style so time to wagonize this thing!
what i like best about these skylines is that when you chop off the roof you have a great flat surface to create a sturdy roof replacement on
P.S. if you look closely at the skyline wagons you see that their front end is shorter beacause they are 4-cyl versions instead of 6-bangers i will not do that (big engine go braaap, i like that!)
.
But I personally think it would make a better impression if you didn´t cut the front doors and maintained the door handles for them.
But anyway a nice project.
