Wow! I remember seeing your room a while ago and showed it to my wife. You should've seen the look of disgust on her face hahaha, but whenever I get my own home office I'm having a proper display done, don't care what she says :)
She must just have a problem with the models,  because that display looks fantastic... How could anyone have a problem with that space.. The set up is amazing!

She only tolerates my models from the investment perspective and it took me 4 years to convince her to let me put up a Billy cabinet to display them in. She knows I enjoy them and now my 3 year old son is into them she's stuck with them lol

Not showing off, just showing what can be done. Good thing I'm a cabinetmaker.

Don't worry, I wasn't accusing you of showing off. It's because I know you are a cabinet maker that I made that comment ;)

Just out of curiosity, what would you charge if you made that setup for someone?

Fantastic displays guys!

You know when you have a model that doesnt fit with the rest of your collection? Take a BBR acrylic case and make a wood/cardboard base to sit the DeLorean on it! :)

Whoa! The lighting in your cabinets is unreal, Rob!! Love the new addition and I'm transfixed by the cabinets in the back too. Where can I find more pictures of your setup? And that clock!

mcaf123, my display is modular, so the tall back wall is made up of 4 x 2200mm X 1200mm X 350mm  / seven display shelves with 5630 LED strip lighting and door with acrylic / perspex window (less reflection than glass) and these sell at AUD $1200 each, the corner 45 degree units sell at AUD $900 each and the new center 4 sided window display on castors would be around $ 1400.
Obviously, I can make any size, shape, color, capacity, etc to suit any ones particular space. I would be happy to make custom cabinets for any member of DX, just shipping the cabinets from Australia to the world could get expensive.
PacMan, heres some more pics of the cabinets, but the clock, I made that. I bought a kitchen clock here in Australia from a maker called 'Salt & Pepper' which was this red color, added some Ferrari stickers and added 10 X 1/38 scale Ferrari's that were part of a Shell petrol promotion here in Oz a few years ago. Total cost for the clock - AUD$112.00

shim, this is my forth version of display cases since I have been in the hobby, and I like this version the best. The all white cabinets really highlight each model and their colors. Thanks for the sub on my channel too, much appreciated.

@Rob: Your setup is absolutely spectacular very museum like. Love it. :drool5: :drool5:

@Josh: What a supercars wall l like your supercars collection. 2 of the cars stand out for me, the yellow Esprit V8 and the silver 550 Maranello made by UT. Probably because they are on my want list for quite some time now lol.

That's awesome! And I remember the Shell promotion. We had that in India too though I never got any myself. Very cool design. Loving the cabinets too. The lighting and the white background really make for a stunning display. And the collection you have in there is making my mouth water too. Kudos, man!

kinesis, yes it is dust proof. I have weather sealing strips behind the door around the edges of the shelving. I have 3 magnetic catches on each door so it holds it against those weather strips.
