AUTOart 1:18 Porsche 911 (901) lowered

i received this 911 with the backseats loose, so as i had the model disassembled anyway, i decided to lower it too.
i have seen a couple of older 911's in my area going quite low, which looks quite nice.

AUTOart does not use spring suspension.

the front is lowered in similar way with most AUTOart models. you can see how to lower the front here:

for the rear, i sand and cut the part the rear wheels is attached to, to move them up. this can be tricky, and is different from model to model.

I got home yesterday and examined my model further. I realized that the un-modified ride-height on mine isn't nearly as high as yours which is why it never occurred to me to lower the model because it looks like how the real 1:1 might've came out of the factory. Nontheless, I'll still put this on my to-do list.
