As the new year is almost upon us I submit my newest request for CMC. The Ferrari 365 GT4/BB or 512BB. This was the first Ferrari I fell in love with as a kid. I saw one on the cover of Road & Track and have been hooked ever since.

1957 Chevrolet Corvette for me please. Enough with the Euro stuff, we have built some great cars to and CMC needs to diversify a little to earn my business and that of other collecters. A CMC Corvette would be a big hit and 57 is a great year and the only choice is a 25 year old BBuargo tooling.

They're going the right way with the Aston. So how about more British classics? The diecast world is screaming for an Aston DBR1. Screaming!

I agree. A super high end C1 Corvette would be extremely welcome. However I submit the Ferrari as the most likely of my super dream cars that CMC might consider. Even Autoart has seemingly given up on anything US classic or not.

I second the Aston Martin DBR1.  Or another classic Ferrari like the 275 GTB/4.

I would love to see an F1 model more recent than the 500 F2 and the Sharknose but from before the 70's. Something like Ferrari 1967 or 1970. Exoto have already done the 1971 312B but its not a fully opening model. Given the scarcity of post-1961 fully opening F1 diecast, it would be terrific if CMC started doing them.

I'll pass it along, although some of the models mentioned here are already being planed. But not for the time frame that is wished for...........

Thanks Münchener! ANY F1 car from 1965 onwards, in fully opening diecast form, would be very welcome. And with separately sold engine also... :yahoo:

Ferrari 250LM, Maserati 450S, or Bizarrini 5300GT would be high on my wish list.

I vote with Uzair for more pre-1970 F1 cars. My faves:

1964-65 BRM 261 driven by Graham Hill, Richie Ginther and Jackie Stewart, arguably the second-best car of the 1.5 liter formula after the Lotus 25/33
1966 Ferrari 312 driven by John Surtees, Lorenzo Bandini, Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes
1966 Repco Brabham BT19 - won the World Driver and Constructors titles in the first year of the 3-liter formula driven by Jack Brabham and Denis Hulme

And a sports car from that era:

1965-67 Ferrari Dino 166P/206 SP battled the Porsche 904/906/910s in FIA endurance and European Hillclimb championships - often outnumbered, poorly supported as Ferrari frequently found it difficult fielding full teams to battle both                         Ford in the over-2-liter and Porsche in the under-2-liter prototype classes and only sporadically successful, it still stands as one of the most beautiful modern racing cars ever:

What did you say about Lancia-Ferrari D50 (1954-1956)?

Like others here, I'd kill for a proper 288 gto and a 330p4. Both have been made, but like the 250 GTO they deserve the CMC treatment and will make for good business sense.

I'd also LOVE an uber-detailed 330 P4 and 412P series. GMP have done them VERY well and the only possible step up is Exoto XS. However CMC could still do the 512S/512M series. But they don't have the Ferrari license and I would hate to see them do a fake branding ala 250 GTO. One thing GMP Masterpiece models were superb at was full liveries and tyre marks, for example CMC's Ferrari 312P models were missing all graphics other than the Ferrari prancing horse whereas the actual race cars had much more going on in terms of sponsor logos.

Yes, I don't think spark's version does the car justice.
