Jessie - Ford Mustang Mach 1 1971

A correct 1971 Mustang would have chrome bumpers, trim around the hood, and front fenders. But that is a minor flaw I suppose. :)

People customize cars all the time. I mean, in the movie they asked for a GT500 and what that almost got was a horribly modified GT500.

Yeah I know, most people even  when the cars were new had the chrome painted body color to try make their '71s look like '72-'73s. Most people today don't want to spend money on re doing the chrome, so they just paint the chrome body color. It is a cheaper route when restoring one.

No, you're right. I think that Sunstar just goofed? They made a 71 Sportsback with chrome bumpers and their MACH1s with body color bumpers. Autoart did their 71 Mustang MACH1 with chrome bumpers. Its no big deal, I tied this one to a rock and tossed it into a lake as soon as I read your post. :D
I'll take that one and that one and that one!

Yeah you gotta watch out for those Esprit's Smokey, they aren't built for reliability.  What you need is some precision German engineering:
