I definitely agree with you on that one Gavin. Norev added a few addition details (colors) to the interior. The rear end of the is pretty a piece of black plastic with very minimal details. I personally think the 2007 model years looks a lot better as well. The read headlights definitely reminds of a Porsche.
I actually won this last week, but will not receive it by the end of this week. AUTOart Mercedes Benz CL63 AMG in silver. This will be my first model with "leather" seatings. Can't wait till I get it.

Most of my friends and family think I'm a pretty smart guy. I tend to absorb knowledge like the mythical working ShamWow; and finished grade 12 social studies with a solid 102% (gotta love the 5% bonus for Advanced Placement assignments). They are mostly right. Sort of.
In matters concerning tools and finesse, I am a ham-fisted idiot. I know this because I killed my beloved GMP Regal.
When I bought my new Skyline 2000GT-R and 2CV, I got a set of GMP Cragar Soft 8 wheels as well, after seeing the F&F4 Street Fighter Grand National. I thought that since GMP appears to be the only maker out there making accessory wheelsets, they would be easy to swap. This is not true. I knew this when I gazed upon a wretched wasteland of Regal wheels in various degrees of destruction (from cracked to utterly shattered). Not to worry, I told myself, I don't need these. I have shiny new wheels! I mean, they fit on the Grand National; and for all intents and purposes the GN is the exact same car as the turbo Regal. They did not fit. Well, this sucks, I thought. But my stubborn gene was now in full expression so I thought I should remove the last ragged shards of wheel off the Regal axles and then go from there. At which point I broke the front axle thoroughly. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-I said; cut off in mid-expletive by the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I've destroyed a Maisto or two before mining them for parts. But those were $10 and more or less unloved at time of death. Not so with the Regal. I'd just destroyed #240 of a scant 750.
So I weighed my options. I could take advantage of the now-vacant space in the cabinet. I knew I could get an Autoart Ford Forty Nine concept for $80 a two-hour drive away. Or, I could get the actual F&F 4 Grand National. I liked the wheels, but not the interior (no super '80s red seats? A dash tach on an automatic?) or the lack of Regal chrome and hood ornament. Or I could just buy the same car again; thus coming to own 0.26% of the global supply (which makes me feel like a dirtbag for some reason
After sleeping on it (and some advice and hug from a wonderful little lady I really ought to marry) my love of non-GN turbo Buicks shone through. All I need now is a dunce cap and a large poster telling me I'm not raidou.

Gunther, I just saw these in person for the first time yesterday and they are horrid!

How's the Elite version compared to the Maisto?
Not a bad model, but just a liiiitle bit better than the Maisto in my humble opinion. I got it for €14, mint and boxed

No, a full 28 € (USD 36)...and they are not worth half that price...I think I'm going to get rid of them....garage sale or so...
The worst part is that there isn't even a difference between ths SL63 and 65 !!

Great purchase, Johan! I don't know how much interest you have in supercars but the Guiloy HS21-GTS is one of the best available in 1:18, both the subject matter and quality of the model.
