I would also like to add the GMP GTO Judge Convertible in white.

I'd have to say my holy grail is the Num 1 LC Brock Bathurst Torana and the Num 28 LC Bathurst Torana (both xu1s and Biante 1:18's)

Getting very expensive and still don't have them.

I'm still looking for a Minichamps RS200 Rally Sweden. Even though I'd generously offered my kidneys earlier, there were no takers.

Because of that I'll throw in a left arm, spleen and a one third of a well used liver.

Any takers?

Right now mine ar these cars (all 1:18):
Minichamps Brabham-BMW BT52
Minichamps Porsche 956 (any livery)
Minichamps BMW M1 (any livery)
Minichamps Porsche 996 911 RSR
AutoArt Porsche Carrera GT
AutoArt Lotus Esprit V8
AutoArt Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe
AutoArt Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
AutoArt Ford Shelb Mustang GT500
AutoArt Porsche 917L (any livery)
Kyosho Lamborghini JOTA
Kyosho Porsche Boxter S
Kyosho Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Competizione
Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP400 Prototype

If I had to pick only one though it would probably be a (hard) choice between the BT52, 996 RSR, or the 365 GTB/4 Competizione.
There are others I really want (and will get), but those are the ones I HAVE to get sometime  :cheers

Reading through this topic, I came up with a question.

Are holy grail models only limited to older releases or can new models be considered holy grails as well?

I would consder newly released models as wish list items, however, that mileage may vary from others.

Thats a toughie...

I would not really classify it as new or old. But by how much you want it.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It depends on how you personally define a holy grail. In mine, it would be the model(s) that stand out in the collection for personal reasons, whether it has been released yet or not. So in my case, the holy grail would be Biante's release of the Brock/Perkins Commodore VK from Bathurst in 1984. It won't be released for a couple of years at least, but for mine, that is my holy grail. But, out of models that have seen the light of day, it would have to be the '92 Skyline of Skaife/Richards that is hard to catch at a reasonable price.

Don't forget, there are many who believe that the idea of a holy grail is an illusion...
