Just got this car last week. Love all the little details the car possesses. IMO, this outrageous design makes the Chiron looks very underwhelming when it was released. However, the QC for this model car left a lot to be desired. This is likely to be the last time I am purchasing an MR model. How can they expect us to pay so much and yet provide us with such poor QC.

Well to start with the front "winglets" are not aligned, paint chip can be found and the engine is slightly deformed. This is easily the resin model with the most QC issue amongst those that I owned.

You can try to correct the alignment with a hot hair dryer or just by moving it into place. Works for me

Underwhelming? I think that thing looks crazy! Love the aggressive aero look, and I wish this was a real car one day haha. Great model man, I didn't know it was actually being made in a model. Great add man, it looks fantastic IMO.

Looks like MR is more concerned with churning out new models faster than they care about quality control issues...

Hope this pattern does not continue with their upcoming releases....

I totally agree with you. What I was trying to imply was that the outrageous design (of the Vision GT model) makes the Chiron model (which was unveil at a later date) looks underwhelming.

I do hope so too. I did get the chance to look at a few other pieces of the identical model as well, all I can comment is that they are equally bad in term of the QC.

My bad, I totally read that wrong!

Love this model! Shame about the QC issues, but it's probably got the most shelf presence out there

It definitely display well. However, it would be perfect if some manufacturer can come up with a Diecast version with opening parts.
