I like it! About your detail work being hidden, while that sucks you at least know its there. Like a quality diecast in a acrylic case, that you know hides its treasures.

Well, at least you get to see the engine.  It's a gorgeous car, well worth all the adversity you overcame to get it looking that good.  I hope your next build will give you fewer nightmares!

Thanks guys, I've currently decided to take a break and build a plastic 1/35 scale SCUD missile launcher.

The piece count to this thing is crazy.... but the detail is amazing. I will post it on the other (non-diecast) area when done.
