This is a personal want for me as my granddad drove one when he was in the Army in early 70s. I'd love it in British Army spec complete with green and black camo and MoD plates, but a civvy version would be good enough for me too.

I saw one of these driving around earlier today not far from the LR factory and it's quite a stunner.

is it wrong that i would love to see this in 1/18th

Cars like this are one of the reasons I am a huge fan of 'tin top' racing.
I grew up watching modified saloon and sports racing in the Phoenix Park.
All within easy walking distance, and all for free!
Of course there were other racing series, but apart from Formula Atlantic I had no real interest in single seaters.
Apart from F1 of course, even if it's often exciting and boring in equal measure.
And that they only race on three of the original great circuits from the past.
Spa (shortened but not destroyed), Suzuka and Monza.
In 1978 as part of a group who traveled to Donington Park for an Irish formula Atlantic race, I got to see probably the largest field of 'Super Saloons' ever.
It was like a dream come true.

There are a few on eBay, but I don't think they're as old as that.

Indeed, that's probably the sexiest crossover ever made.

Was just having a conversation on S143 and would like to add these to the mix.  Amazed no one's made them yet.
