Just wondering if anyone has the new Mondo Motors Maserati Granturismo yet? I don't believe it has been released yet in the US. I got mine a month ago or so. It's the La Mini Miniera edition, only 1000 ever made. I have yet to find another person who has one.

I think this and the standard version are the same. The only different is the box. It looks like a SuperElite kind of box with wood and leather base. It also has a metal plague on it with the serial number.

I will have mine next week ... I've ordered one of each color for the store, but I'm not sure on which one I'll settle :confused

... since the silver is out of the question for me, I'm hesitating between the pearl white or the black with red interior! :dizzy

Cuda Jeff, I would recommend getting the Pearl White color :10 . For some reason, Black doesn't go so well with the model. One thing I really hate about this model is the lack of interior details, you'll see what I mean once you geti it. :cheers

For anyone interested in getting a Mondo Motors Grandturismo, here is a link to one on Ebay right now. The seller also have the Gallardo Concept as well.

The online retailer I've been dealing with out in BC is going to see if he can get me one from his distributor. I want the white as well. I was going for a black one but decided against it. It comes in silver too but that's not really an Italian colour to me.

My retailer got all three colours in last Monday. I ordered the white and got it on Friday. Nice looking car and the colour reminds me of metallic french vanilla icecream. That's the only way to describe it.

What do you think about the detail on the interior? I was dissappointed with the lack of details.

First of all, I'd have to say that Mondo must have had a 'Henry Ford Model-T' complex when they made these models. You can have any colour interior you want as long as its red and black. The interior is the same in all three colours. Physically the detail isn't too bad but I'd say most of the money went into the exterior details. The paint job is very good for a midrange model. I would say Maisto finishes the finer interior details better. The instrument cluster looks cheap with the decals. There's no depth to the interior details. And I would have preferred full glass in the doors rather than the half glass. Glass all round keeps the dust out and reduced the 'maintenance'. Overall the model is nice but I would never buy the 1:1 version if red and black were the only interior selection. I think Mondo was cutting costs by using the same interior for the silver, black and white.

I didn't know you have a dealership? What kind is it? :confused

Well from what I've seen, this model is not worth $55, on Diecastfast.com they have them for $35. However, I plan on getting the black one soon, to go with my black Alfa 8C

I would have to go with Mike on this one. The car feels kinda lite to cost $55. I got mine for $22 including shipping. :giggle

If anyone is interested in this model, check out this ebay auction 300253824381. I have purchased from this seller many times before and I can say that he is honest about the condition described. :ok

Did you get yours on eBay for that price including shipping? You've got to be kidding. I did a worldwide search on eBay and there was nothing under $30CDN and shipping was not included.

Update:
I did a search and found your item number but its the only one under $30 and only available in black.

I just checked the auction, I paid $25 with shipping included for the car. Here is the link, I placed the winning bid. Ebay number 300227500014.

Update, the Black Maserati is now at $20 Buy it Now. Not a bad deal.
