Are threads submitted to the Classified area reviewed before they are posted? If so, I may have submitted two different posts for the same item. Can a moderator delete the first one for me?

That is correct, a moderator must first approve your thread before it's posted.

That is correct.
I will add that we usually catch the double posts as a lot of people seem to do it. I think they make their original post, thing something went wrong because it doesn't show up and then post it again.
