Interesting! I'm possibly looking to take a job near the DC area (Alexandria, VA), but not for certain yet. As for the beach, it's always so crazy down here that my wife and I can't even enjoy the beach like we want to and we're only 5-10 minutes from the coast. We like VA, but not so much VA Beach.

Yes, I took advantage of a coupon! I wouldn't think of paying full price for their models - they're way too expensive otherwise, especially the XS series. I will give credit where credit is due, the model is extraordinary.

One thing about living around DC or the Northern Virginia area in general is the traffic is really bad around rush hour. So I hope you are ready for that :giggle:

I've heard rumors about the traffic conditions... :lamende: ... and I'm not really looking forward to it. It's bad enough down here at VA Beach - people down here just don't know how to drive. :gaah:

I hear you on that. My girlfriend's father lives in Virginia Beach as well, and I'm not sure who's worse - Florida drivers or Norfolk area drivers.

Welcome to the forum. There's certainly a lot of knowledge here, so not only is it a great place to talk with fellow collectors, but they can help find a hard to find item or answer virtually any question you may have.

I hear Florida is bad because of all the elderly retired folks. Norfolk/VA Beach is bad because of all of the speeding Yankees, incompetent vacationers, and military residents. The roads are a melting pot of various driving habits from all over the US, which is not a good combination. :dizzy:
