I will start by saying that there is a reason (or more) for me to have Kyosho as a favorite brand in my profile and this car is one of them. I already had their LP400 in blue, but for some reason this car is better (maybe it's the white interior on the LP400 that is not realistic enough).
This is part of a 6 used cars deal and am verry happy to have it as part of my collection!
I cannot find a fault! Everything is beautifully made, the door mechanisms actually keep the doors opened, the engine detail is very good, the paint is nicely applied and the wheels and tires are great - though the tires are unmarked. The headlights open and close without any drama. The suspension is active too. I haven't seen the AUTOart version, but it's pretty hard for me to believe that it can get better than the Kyosho.
Here are a few pics:

I totally agree, i own the same car and it is a remarkable model, a great representation of a classic supercar of the 80's :wavetowel2:

Congrats on the trade florin,

the Kyosho Countach line is quite amazing.

i have an LP400, LP5000S and LP5000 QV. They are all stunning.

I havent seen the brown interior, but i never had a problem with the white. I actually think it has quite a bit of depth and realism to it.

I don't have a problem with the white interior, other than it's maybe too white or iimmaculate? It doesn't look very realistic in a road car, that's all (in my opinion).

Thanks man! Get any Kyosho Lamborghini and you'll enjoy it. This one is labeled as LP500, but has a 5000 badge on it and no, it's not the S or the QV either. The only other Countach that I want now is the LP500R withits mesh bbs look alike wheels.

LOL, way to open a can of worms! :Jka:
For those of us that were born in the 70s, a Countach poster in the bedroom was just as common as an Ipod is nowadays. I cannot think of a more iconic 80s car than the Countach... It was released in the 70s when it made the world stop and take notice and got refined in the 80s when it received the arrow shaped wing and the phone dial rims. This was all happening way before the mad twin turbo F40 and 959.

Florin,

the black one you have there is an S. and having it labeled LP500 is technically correct.
for some reason the early 500s were listed as such, but the later cars were listed as 5000s. not really sure why.

The lightning bolt looking photoetch piece is the S.

First, you need to remove the signature logo :) Well, that's another story...

Why I say the Countach is the best Lambo ever. in my opinion the release of this Countach and similar variants started the "super" car crazy. Being the catalyst I must give it praise. Thank you Lamborghini or now we say AUDI!

there are 17 Kyosho Countach models on ebay.com right now

http://toys.shop.eba...d=p3286.c0.m282

They are all either P400 or P500 walter wolf editions, but both are stunning examples.
There are also a few LP500Rs available, one for a buy it now of $99.

also, you may want to contact this guy
http://shop.ebay.com...=&_trksid=p3686
I bought both my blue Countach models from him last year. LP5000s and LP400.
He seems to list lots of rare sold out, brand new models.

:S
All the rare models seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately. I've found 5 that i've been looking for for a year, but I can't afford all that i want :S

I've been waiting for AutoArt to re-release the 5000S, but I may just get any Kyosho Countach I can find since they all look like excellent models overall. And, actually, I kind of prefer the purity of the LP400 anyway, and for that model, the Kyosho is the only game in town so far.

All-time favorite Lamborghini? I'll admit that's a tough call, but for me, it's the Miura hands down!

I was comparing my Autoart Miura SV to the Kyosho Miura, the Autoart only has better detailed wheels but the Kyosho rips it thouroughly with everything else.I reckon the Kyosho Contach should be better than the AUTOart!

Go for the Autoart version, their Countach is one of the best effort from them, the details are almost as good as the Bugatti Veyron. Also the Autoart has the metal underbody which gives the model a very solid and weighty feel.

I am not saying your wrong but when I compare my autoart lambos to my kyoshos lambos kyosho just seems to go the extra step and looks better detail wise... this is would be hard to decide because I havent seen any autoart countaches... i personally love my kyosho countach

Tough call I have an Bburugo Countach in white, an Autoart Countach in Black and three Kyosho Countachs in Orange LP400, Green LP400 and Blue 5000.

For my mind the Kyosho Countach is the superior model due to the fine details. The Autoart is impressive on its own but the Kyosho is more accurate in my mind. goes without saying that unless you are on a tight budget, its best to avoid the Bburugo
