I have had this model for a while now,but whenever I tried taking pics of it,it for some odd reason never came out well........appealing!So today after giving it some Meguiars treatment I took it ouside and tried again and voila!!

Awesome photos! :coolpics: I've heard that car polish does wonders for die-cast replicas. I might give it a try. :10: Thanks for posting!

Great pictures and model, Major  I regret passing on these Autoart GT3's when they were widely available, but I'd get mine in white. This 997 GT3 is for my eye the best looking 911 since the 993.

Concerning the polish issue here,I first used Meguiars Deep Crystal polish and then used the Meguiars NXT Tech Wax after. The results are stunning, leaving a wet look effect on the paintwork.

Great add....I got this same model late last year. Silver usually isn't my favorite, but I think it looks fantastic on this GT3.

I thought I'd be tired of silver Porsches by now, but the GT3 looks great in that color.

I've been thinking about getting the 997 GT3 in Guards Red by Norev for some time now. I saw one at a local dealer, and save for the lack of interior carpets and side windows along with the ride height that needs adjusting, I think it's a great model overall that compares quite favorably with the AutoArt. So I may just get that one and put some elbow grease into it- but I'll see if I can get one of these first!

I meant to mention it in your GT3 family thread, but then thought better of it.

I should do a comparo...one of these days. Its freaking cold here with tons of snow. Maybe when it warms up.
