I'm having "issues" with ck-modelcars_uk (ebay seller) from Germany, has anyone else had any problems?
I am surprised, never had a problem with them at all. I've had maybe fifty or so things from them.

I'll stop fretting then! Hopefully just a one-off, thanks.
What problems are you having?

The packages are just taking an awfully long time to get here and now the DHL tracking is showing the status as :"The recipient of the shipment is unknown. The shipment will be stored."
When I contacted the seller, he got a bit shirty, gave me a different tracking number that isn't recognised and told me to contact my local post office as "they have the order dunno why they not delivered in to you." The point seems to be that DHL still have the package and not Royal Mail but he won't accept this.

As you said, I haven't had problems with these guys before. If I hadn't dealt with them previously, I would be getting a little bit more annoyed than I am at the moment!

That's odd, normally things from there take four working days to arrive, sometimes they come in only three.

I've only had trouble once with a sub standard model but contacted them & told them I was a member here & if they didn't resolve problem I'd have to inform the other members that I had bad experience, got a inspected fresh model the next week.  I'd use that approach if you have no joy with them but usually they're quite good.

I've never had an issue with them either... perhaps they were just having an "off day" or something. Nonetheless, I'm wishing you the absolute best resolution! :occasion14:

I've also bought stuff from them before, and had no issues whatsoever. Shouldn't be a problem, just wait a little longer and the parcel should arrive.

I just recently had bad experience with an Ebay seller (min-collection) from South Korea.  Ordered a Kyosho Ferrari 512TR and an Autoart Countach, for reasonable price.  Got a 1/43 Minichamps F1 model instead.  No communication or attempts to resolve.  Finally eBay stepped in and refunded my money.  In process of recovering shipping amount now.  (I get the difference refunded, as I need to return sellers item to get it.)  Ironically, I would have been better off if seller had sent me nothing, as I will only get about 60% of my shipping cost back after paying to return wrong item.

The whole experience has me very puzzled:
-Seller had no previous issues, good feedback rating and over 1000 transactions
-This last batch of auctions something went very wrong as seller recieved 145 negative feedback in one month
-If eBay account was hacked, why send anything at all?  Really puzzled by getting wrong item.  They also combined shipping charges for two items after items were bought.
-Feedback settings were changed to private at some point, so I really cant tell what happened.

Anyway, this seller currently isn't selling anything, but if you see this username, I would steer clear!

Greetings from Finland

I haven't had real bad experience with any dealers but some, usually French ones, have been somewhat unsatisfying. Either they charnge totally illogical s&h fees or just refuse to send their items anywhere outside France.

But these sellers I must give greetings for well done trades

BAD:

car_models (Greece).

I bought a FrontiArt openable resin Lambo Aventador in 1/18 from them. It was supposed to be "brand new, never opened" and so on. But what I got simply shocked me. The model was totally damaged without any chance to fix sth and dusted. I opened a case and returned the model for the full refund. But it cost me € 55 (US $ 80) for return shipping (shame on eBay).

linshan_07 (China) (and many others)

They've listed plenty nice models at ridiculous prices until recently. It was fortune to me (I thought that time) I'd managed to win a Kyosho's BMW Z4 (E89), and I was disappointed I'd missed Kyosho's Testarossa. Silly me!

Luckily I found out who they were prior to pay and never paid.

'linshan_07' has been an eBay member since Dec 28, 2012, and having earned some positive feedbacks on crap started to scam.

STAY AWAY from those sellers! Look to their feedbacks to confirm.
