I'm getting one of these too.  It will be my first resin model.  I've tried so hard to resist buying resin but alas, the allure of a 930 slantnose has proved to be too strong.  GTSpirit makes some pretty incredible looking models.  If they made die cast, I'd be broke.

Haha!! I know what you mean.

It's a great model, the paint is flawless, the only bit I'm not keen on is the rear brake light in the window. I don't like that.

Awesome! I'm still after a silver 1/18 AUTOart F1, congrats on the big add. Maybe one day I'll join the 1/12 group.

So was I TAL - especially in silver, but they've gone astronomical in price these days - except for the GranTurismo stealth version that is flooding the market at the moment, but to be honest I think all the CF - lovely as it is - tends to obscure all the lovely lines of the F1... :twocents:

Missing:
  • 930. Looking for an Autoart. probably brown
  • 964. I believe that only Welly makes it (which color do you recommend? :dunno:)
  • 993. black UT models is coming from EEUU
  • 991. Waiting for new colours from Minichamps (red, white with tan interior, yellow). Which color do yo recommend :dunno:. Grey it´s no my color
:danke:

GT Spirit also makes the 964, in Turbo S form.  I have the Welly in black (best color, IMO).

for the 991, I have the grey Minichamps, but really like the white the most out of those 3.

I have both 964 turbos, GTS & Welly. While it is nice to have an open model, the GTS is much better. And the color is amazing.
I also have the GTS & Minichamps 991 turbo. And for me the minichamps is nicer. Opening parts and better wheels. I'll be adding it in red when released. And the 930, are going for each version?

I have just check pictures of the 964 Turbo from GTS and... :wtff: :drool5: :drool5: :adore:  it´s just amazing!! IPurple colour it´s stunning! I think that the finally I will open the Pandora´s box of sealed models.. :gaah: GTS models seem to be a real car. comparing both models, the welly version is at ground level.
The 991 from GTS is nice for me. The Minichamps version has a very bad looking brakes. But I haven´t had in my hands.
About the 930, after searching 911 turbo versions along history, I learnt that there are the 3.0 Turbo and 3.3 Turbo.
Autoart and Norev makes 3.0 and 3.3 is only available by Norev, isn´t it?
It´s the wing the only difference between them?
:dunno: @preisman...you left me speechless :wtff: Does really deserve go for both versions? At least for me, a bigger wing it´s a minimun detail thar just makes no difference. What do you think?

Congrats Eddy and @jusali for that "big bad boy" I have to confess that finally I sold my Mclaren F1 1:12 Minichamps in blue. It´s too big and not manageable for me. I get the Autoart 1:18 version and definetely not will back to that group. @TALSCTSV I don´t recommend you this 1:12 version if you own the AUTOart version. Doors are very heavy and can´t stand up. AUTOart version is superb. The best things come in small packages :nice:
On the other hand, maybe I escaped from 1:12 Pandora´s box...but I should open the resin Pandora´s box :omg: :giggle:

:omg:  Craig even not being a fan on slant nose I :adore:  for this model. It´s crazy, GTS seems to be a real car. That picture..wow that reflections on the entire body.. :adore: :drool5:
Totally :agreed:  with you @enzo288: "GTSpirit makes some pretty incredible looking models.  If they made die cast, I'd be broke"
And as I wrote, still I have no resin models. But with these beauties..I can´t resist. Definitely, this forum contrubutes to :twocents: in more models that previously went unnoticed :danke:

AUTOart did the 3.3 Turbo & 3.0 Turbo but they are getting hard to find now (and they go for a lot of money) I think the only difference is the rear spoiler yeah, but AUTOart should have put bigger wheel on the 3.3 Turbo (I think)

The brakes on the 991 Minichamps Carrera S are rubbish, they are cheap plastic.

I really like this model too ! ..but, it's resin and it's almost the exact same color as a 1/24 Tamiya that I built while in High School 20 something years ago..so it's like that model scaled up. I had hoped that AUTOart would've made a diecast, but This model looks so good taht I might cave in and get a resin one day.. Might! Congrats on the Flatnose/Slantnose! :occasion14:

Yes Craig I was searching on evilbay and 930 by Autoart costs near 150€. But I can´t miss this to get all generations. On this april I am traveling to Munich. Maybe I can find a good deal  there . Sureley I will get only one version of 930. A bigger wing as an unique difference does not deserve  buying two, I prefer save money and go for the 991 by Minichamps.
About the 991 by GTS, you are right. A big inconvenience considering the rest of the car. In this case, with no doubt I will go for the white 991 by Minichamps
