I just got in the mail my Classic Carlectables Ford FPV BA GT sedan.  And from the Chicago hobby show, I got the silver Hot Wheels F355 spyder, H-61 Audi A6, and an unexpected find, a Sunstar Mercedes S600 Pullman.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Nice haul Lloyd.  If there's any chance you could post pics of the A6, that would be super.   :wink

My recent purchases from the last week or so are below:

Autoart Porsche 911 GT3RS White/Red stripe
Autoart Porsche 911 GT3RS White/Blue stripe
Jadi Lotus Elise in Ice Blue
Jadi Lotus Elise in Titanium
Jadi Lotus Elise Type 25 Green/Yellow Stripes

And the 2 I am most proud of
Biante- Ford BA Falcon XR8 in Blueprint
Classic Carlectables-FPV GT in Blood Orange   :danbana

The Fords are for my office at work as I am a Ford salesperson. I have over 40 models of various Fords, and Ford owned/powered cars (Jag, AM, Panoz). The Falcons are AMAZING, for the money. Just below Exoto, with the detail in my opinion.

The Porsches above, I only wanted the Blue Stripe, but with all the pics on here of the Red Stripe, I just had to buy both. Once I figure out how to put pics on here, I will take photos of my office. I have 14 Eagle's Race GT40's and 4 Ford GT's. among many others.
If anyone can send me a PM with directions on how to add photos to a post, I will take one of my entire car collection. Work (40+) and Home Collection (80+). You all would be impressed. I just would like to share with all of you as we all love this hobby.

Reason why 1:43 scale cars aren't that popular because most people including me(sorry it I offend) consider them toys and not Collectable model cars. .

Should you collect 1:43?

Quote

In my opinion, no if you can afford 1:18 models. First of all, most people will think of them as toys, while 1:18 models can look as something classy if you have a few.

Now that I am getting the holden, Nicole( my wife :ranting )sat me down to talk about the spending sprees I have had(although she bought the Holden :jawdrop )

Anyway, during this talk out of nowhere, sh produced a "affidavid" :confused  :WTF  :scared (not sure the spelling :lol ), which stated that; "By excepting the following model car, I have to agree "NOT" to purchuse any pricey models, until after x-mas has past!!!!!"  :giggle Yeah, OK! :lol

The Key word is PRICEY!!!!!!!!I think it is possible to get around this!! :tempted

Ask and ye shall receive.

I'm having issues with my image hosting, so I'll just attach 1 for now.   CDX posted pictures of his a little while ago in the 1/18 forum.  Mine has the updated front end :happy but it doesn't have carpet :ranting

Got this today locally. Here's a quick snap

I was also tempted by the silver/red interior Boxster from AUTOart, but it's not in my diecast budget at the moment (1/43 is still my priority).
