DX 2011-2012 "Around the World" Mileage Log

Odometer Updates

The official route has been charted! Beginning in the US, the die-cast model will travel the East Coast before crossing the Canadian border. From Canada, the model will then travel to the UK. From the UK, the model will makes its way through Europe! Upon leaving Europe, the model will head south to Africa. From Africa it will travel to Sri Lanka and Malaysia, eventually making its way to Australia. From Australia, the model will then go to New Zealand before eventually making its way back to the US for a short time before heading south to Mexico. After Mexico, the model will once again return to the US for a brief tour of the West Coast before finally landing!

As the die-cast model makes its journey around the world, we will be keeping count of the mileage here! As you can imagine, this die-cast model will rack up some serious miles as it crosses vast oceans and large continents before returning home again. While we aren't for sure how long this epic journey will last, we can be certain that this model will be on the go for quite some time before it will finally be parked. Tracking this model across the globe will be not be easy. We will be providing regular mileage updates throughout the journey, and we will be updating this topic each time the die-cast model leaves a location.

The DX United States of America Tour - Part 1 covered a total distance of 5402 miles! Wow! Our little model will most likely need an oil change... hopefully it's running on synthetic, which it most likely is (my 1:1 Police Interceptor runs on synthetic oil). Posted Image

Cool Matt! The car has really traveled.  Yeah, I'd say it's a little over due for a oil change!  LOL!
