Should you collect 1:43?

In my opinion, no if you can afford 1:18 models. First of all, most people will think of them as toys, while 1:18 models can look as something classy if you have a few.

Another new model I received a few days ago. I have been looking for a Rover for a while, and I found this here on this great website. It is by Autoart and very cool. Everything opens. It feels flimsy but I am not playing with it. It looks great on my shelves with all my large American trucks.

I love these old race cars. I have been searching high and low for a good price on one of these GMP Lolas. I did sacrifice and purchesed one without a box. I am one who proudly displays their cars and only need a box when I move. More about the model. It is a GMP Lola Daytona coupe from 1969. TThe #8 American International Racers Lola T70 Mark III entered by actor  James Garner.  This car came in second and was driven by Ed Leslie and  Lothar Motschenbacher.  Garner also had a film crew there to make a  racing documentary eventually released as The Racing Scene.

The last car of the day is a Holden Commodore VK #25 from Bathurst 1000 and finished 2nd. It is a Carlectable and is beautiful. I also bought a Biante version of the winning car. I need to find more pictures of the original to see which model is best. The model is GREAT!!! The detail is far greater than I imagined.

I picked up a UT Impala the other day and arrived. I took some shots along with a UT New York Taxi Caprice that I have had for a long time. I was real curious of the differences between the two. Everything that should be different is and it is nice to see.

Great Porsche , EXOTO ??

The market definately loves the 60s as far as American cars. The 50s are represented well to, but the 70s and 80s are a barren wasteland. There are a few Trans Ams and Montes but there are a lot of nice styled cars out there. I would be interested in some late 70s Gran Prix's and Caddys, maybe even Ford LTD. The size of those cars and the crazy style would be nice to see as a model.

The Porsche is an Autoart. Great car

Appreciate the comments!
The reason I bought the car was the stance. It is just mean. The fat tires and chop top. Everything about it very ridiculous and eye catching, but still very original looking. Glad you like the Bel Air! :wavetowel2:
