a sheraton thompson Indy500 winner, 1964

is well outside, the perfect painting and pad printing as well, the car only opens the engine compartment, wheels and tires are very well reproduced, it has disc brakes on all 4 wheels do not rotate but are fixed by moving the wheels

the interior is well detailed seat is rubber and fabric belt dashboard is well detailed, with markers rpm speed etc, the only bad thing is that the wheel does not spin

the engine is very detailed and looks pretty good, you can see some wiring but it is very hidden, the chrome parts are well made the engine block is made of metal, the entire area of the engine is very simple

Reason why 1:43 scale cars aren't that popular because most people including me(sorry it I offend) consider them toys and not Collectable model cars. .

Should you collect 1:43?

In my opinion, no if you can afford 1:18 models. First of all, most people will think of them as toys, while 1:18 models can look as something classy if you have a few.
