Minineopet is not a DX sponsor.

Other than poor customer reviews and lack of inventory updates I can't really complain about DMW I ordered though their main page and their amazon.com page and both cars and boxes arrived wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a small box to prevent shipping movement. And I'll keep ordering from them until I get a bad shipment.

A lot of my new non-Autoart releases are from Diecasttoys.  I like the fact that they double-box their orders and their prices are really competitive (for Elite models).  The thing I don't like about them however is that they don't update their website when something goes out-of-stock. They don't change it to "out-of-stock" until somebody places an order for the item and they find out later that it is actually out-of-stock.  If you want to know if they have actually have it in stock before ordering from them, just look up for the same item on eBay under seller "minineopet". If you don'nt see their listing on eBay for that product, chances are they're out of that item.

They are good, I highly recommend them.  Never had problems. *knocks on wood*

[support DX sponsors] or minineopet is an absolute fraud. I bought 2 models from him through ebay and when preparing for delivery one was supposed to be broken. Got the option to wait for the next shipment for the 2nd model or have one model send already. As I wanted only once the shipment costs, I decided to wait for the next shipment to arrive. Today I received a message that the 2nd model isn't expected anymore, so I told him to send the 1st model anyway. Seems he already sold the 1st model to someone else. So even though I bought the 1st model through an auction on ebay, he won't deliver it anymore.

To make things worse, he told me that should a new shipment nevertheless arrive, I can buy the models, but for a higher price. In my opinion this is fraud and certainly never will buy from this store again.

SO BE CAREFUL, DIECAST-TOYS/MININEOPET WILL TRY TO LET YOU BUY MODELS, BUT NEVER DELIVERS OR ASKS A HIGHER PRICE!

I would say report all of this to ebay and give a very negative review.

Gave already a very negative review on ebay and reported it. However, have my doubts if ebay will do anything about it, as minineopet brings in a big earning for them. At least got my money back as I used PayPal.

Worse thing is that minineopet will probably get away with it.

Yes I just bought a diecast model from them. They sent it to me with a broken windshield. They would not allow me to return the model or send me a windshield. They just wasted time waiting for the 30 day money back guarantee to expire. Ebay was no help either. Do not buy from minineopet.

Amazingly, this thread jumps two and a half years. Does that mean that what is being referred to here is an isolated incident, out of the thousands of models this seller delivers successfully?

Personally, I've bought several times from them, all of them without a problem. No seller is perfect, but let's look at this in full perspective.

It's quite possible that people do not wish to report their issues. They just might be novice collectors like myself who are fed up by people who take advantage. It's also possible that people are unaware of this site to make others aware. Something I should have done before I made my expensive purchase.
