Lmao, I don't buy doubles mate.
Would rather spend the dollar on a model I don't have. :)
I'll probz just end up with the black one. As it's out first and I'm very impatient lol.

Whoa I wouldn't do that, you're gonna regret it, you have been warned, I tell you! :giggle:
Take the white rabbit to enjoy the jagged features....it's also out soon for the impatient and for topdollah :occasion14:

Haha, why not?? I like the orange calipers against the black body.
I do like the White, plus it will go nice with my White SV :)
Awww I just dunno :( lmao

If you only get one, stick to a color that shows the features, if you have patience, stick to the orange because it's a "real" lambo color.
Also, it's technically not a double if you buy a different color version from 2 different brands

If it's not die-cast, it won't have a crumple zone

Welly does a pretty decent Aventador for a good price too.

Or FX, or Bburago ( :Jka: ), or fronti-art, or MR if you have extra spare :twocents:

I find it ridiculous that the E Type will cost over $200 (I'm assuming it'll be released under the Signature line). That is Aventador pricing. Frankly, if they priced like they did on the updated DB5, it'll make so much more sense.

Here in the States, the MSRP is $245.95.  Diecast sweatshops are selling it for around $220.  This is insane.

Like you, I could see if AUTOart charged a price similar to the upgraded Aston Martin DB5.  Although I'm not really sure what AUTOart did to upgrade that car to justify a much higher price either.

I only hope that the AUTOart E-Types will be as close to perfect as it gets.  The black Series I coupe pictured earlier in this thread had a very off-center Jaguar badge on the bootlid.  That's fine when it's a tampo on a $20 Maisto or a $60 Norev, but not for a photo-etched piece on a $200+ diecast.  Off-center and poorly-applied photo-etched badges really bothered me on the AUTOart Veyron as well.

At the risk of sounding even more pedantic, I think Lamborghini's LP model designation represents the position of the engine.  I think it's "Longitudinale Posteriore" and not "Lamborghini Performante" as AUTOart states in its model description.  That Aventador looks stunning, but since I already have several AUTOart products on my want list, I am also considering the Welly FX version to save a few bucks.  It looks pretty nice as well.

Between the E-Type and Aventador, I rather spend the $200 on the Lambo (not that I'm completely with the $$).

Now that is a great color for the Dentadoor. I much prefer this over matte white black and the orange.

Apparently the Volvo BTCC estate has been cancelled. Most likely because of poor sales of the saloon version, which would be because people were waiting for the estate :mad2:

That sucks - I too would have wanted the estate!

On a side note, I really want some models of the cars from that era!

The Toyota 2000 GT is a strange one because they only built two convertibles for "You only live twice"-legend has it because Sean Connery was too tall to fit inside the coupe.

I agree with you on that one.  Particularly some Vauxhalls.  No more Opel or Holden BS.  I've seen enough Opels and Holdens in the 1/18 scale department to last a lifetime.  I know that they're owned by GM and that Vauxhall is not as popular as Opel or Holden, but I still think Vauxhall deserves a chance to shine in the 1/18 scale area.
