Yes, i said Maisto lol. This model is quite old , but if you look at it over and over Maisto did a great job with the details of the car. Sad thing they stopped producing Ferrari's.

You're right Red Baron, I can see from your pics that Maisto have done a great job  :clap:

...I've not seen the Maisto before but have the Bburago and Hot Wheels versions .....both also very nice IMO.. :twocents:

A few decals really went a long way in the engine bay. I'm still kind of surprised that the UT model never had this.

I bought this model way back in late '96/early '97 when it was first released, and I remember being pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail. It was notably more detailed than all of my other Maisto 1:18's, so it led me to believe that it marked the beginning of a new manufacturing process at Maisto on all their cars from then on, as all new their new models seemed to follow the 550M with better detail than they've ever had in the past.

I have this one too (& Hot Wheels's version).  Still love the styling on these.

Its a sad case they stopped producing Ferrari's. If not it would be a great replacement for the limited edition horse's frm HWE.
