Why no-one hasn't made these models yet is beyond me, compared to some cars that have been done these should be no-brainers I think.

1:18 Ford Cortina/ Mk3 (1970-76)
1:18 Fiat Dino 2400 (1969-72)
1:18 Chevrolet Blazer (1977)
1:18 Chrysler Imperial "Green Hornet" (1966)
1:18 Chevrolet C-10 (1973)
1:18 Dodge Monaco Police (1978)
1:18 VW Beach Buggy (any)

I could go on but we'd be here all day, maybe I should become a model manufacturer?

If love a Chevy Blazer and VW buggy. Can't for the life of me understand why you would want a MK3 Cortina though! ;-)

Well I could say the same thing about the Mk1 Cortina that Minichamps did.... Ugly thing. Grew up around them & think the lines are classic & beautiful... Each to their own I guess.

I want a proper detailed VW Beetle in 1/18, split rear window etc. I think AUTOart are on the case, probably be expensive though. I'd quite like Schuco to do it since they made the later old style one.

Of all the VW Beetles I've seen only SOLIDO got the dimensions right but if you've seen one you know that's where the good news ends, Buragos looks ok but roof & front windscreen to small. Hope a nice one comes out as love classic bugs.

It would be nice...it's the classic Cortina as far as I'm concerned, the MKIII turned the range into a far more desirable vehicle with more on-street presence than the MKII. My mother had a 2.0 GXL in gold metalic, gorgeous car.
When you do create your model company, don't forget MKI Granada's as well
Andy - still on 'Learner Plates' as far as diecast's go.

Both Saloon & the Fastback Granadas, beautiful cars. They could do a whole classic ford range as ford fanatics would eat them up. I'd have to have a bronze GLX like the "Life on Mars" car.

funny that you posted that today...first pics of Kyosho's early Pantera were just released.  Supposedly available first quarter of '13 in red or black.  Looks excellent, IMO.

Check out Scale18's message board or diecastsociety for pics.

Hopefully they'll release both road & race versions of it, hoping for some more colours being available but I'll buy it even if it comes in brown.....But not pink. I too was tempted by the Hotwheels version but my better judgement slapped me round the face & said "GET A GRIP" lol

Yeah nice one!

My guess will be $148 (~£92)...   I win!

Check Legacy Diecast mate ;)

Looks like you're going to get it for less than the max you were willing to pay :P
"If you have the money to buy an AUTOart, why don't you buy an Exoto?"

Wanted list:

Kyosho Lamborghini Miura Green
Highway 61 Dodge Challenger '10 inferno red with hood stripe
Eligor Mercedes Actros black
AUTOart Ford Mustang "Bullitt" (original)

The doors on the Hot Wheels version looked small. Also the silver pantera that Dave posted is that a modern recreation like the Americas reborn muscle cars or is it modernized restoration
