Hello DX'ers,

I got myself into a bit of a bad situation. I saw a Kyosho E60 BMW M5 titled "Kyosho BMW M5 E60 Sedan 1:18 Diecast Car MINT!" on eBay for a BIN price of $80. I didn't even scroll down to the description. It was a sort of the heat of the moment type thing.

http://www.ebay.com/...=p2047675.l2557

I buy it now, and then scroll down to the description to find it missing a load of parts with a load of issues. There is no way I'm buying the model the way it is.

Any suggestions? I think I'm just going to be straight up with the seller and tell him what happened.

You can ask him to cancel the sell, other than that you'll have to take a non-payment strike. His add is crazy!
Selling Kyosho 1:18 BMW M5 (E60) Diecast

It is in great shape, except tiny crack on left taillight, two front windows missing, front mirrors and wipers missing,

(It is in perfect shape) for display, no scratch nor damage on the paint or overall platform

- Light Blue Color
- Great Detail by Kyosho
- Spring suspension on all wheels
- Carpet material on the floor (no plasticy bits)

Will ship to anywhere in the US

I sent the message to him. I told him I felt deceived by his misuse of the words "Mint" and "Perfect".

I think if I take it up with eBay, they'll cancel the sale for me.

Edit...that was quick. The seller canceled the transaction already. But obviously didn't learn anything.

LOL! Thats why you have to read the auction before you bid Jason. Don't feel bad though, I once bought a model with no windshield. After that, I read first, then hit that BIN. I'm glad it worked out for you :occasion14:

When I first started out, I read the description and then bought the item. Then, someone took an E30 M3 away from me when I was reading the description :mad2:. So I learned to read the title, buy, and then read the description.

Thanks for the input!

That wasn't me was it?.... I was just thinking, he should put some long scratches down both sides, and cut the bottoms off the tires. Then list it as the super rare "girl friend caught me cheating" edition. LOL!

It was quite a while ago, maybe 8 months ago. The model was a black Minichamps E30 M3 listed for BIN at $40. It was missing an antenna.

If  he does make it the "girlfriend caught me cheating" edition, he should say that it's SUPER RARE RARE RARE RARE, Only one in the World! MINT!
