HAHAHAHA I tried. I'm sure she knows. But the trigger had to be pulled....without diecast there is no hope, no hope at all.

I'm pretty sure that at some point some sympathetic philanthropist will establish a halfway house for diecast collectors who've been thrown out of their homes by wives who've just had enough ;-)...

Test drove a 2018 volvo v60 polestar.....there is no way to describe how much I want it. What an amazing piece of work.

The only let-down I found with the Volvo V60/S60 Polestar is the transmission. It's fine, but it still behaves like a normal automatic...not something that should be in a car of this calibre. If it had been equipped with a DCT I would own one.

Yeah I hear you MXV. The way I see it with these types of cars of late, all are switching to auto with paddles instead of manual. It would be nice but considering the amount of traffic, I'll take the auto and let the RS be the weekend toy.

It really blows going through a collection trying to sort out what goes. Part of me cringes when I put a model into the let-go pile....don't know if anyone feels that way but damn man, what a weird feeling.

Yeap happens to me I always try to find excuses not to sell but I just need to toughen up, take them out from cabinet snap pics, post them on classifieds then put them away and not thinking about them anymore.

I'd never sell a model I still like, unless I really needed to, And even then, I don't know if I could. Feels like letting a dream go, or something like that.

Yeah exactly. I look at it from them from the memories of the hunt, filling in a space but now, just weird man.

I'm not a fan of the guttural/industrial/musclecar/amg/bmw/audi exhaust noises. Everything sounds the same lately. Where's that sonorous wail a la Carrera GT/Lexus LFA/any Ferrari?

I use google to back up all the pictures I take from my phone Sam. Then save them to my laptop, Then up load them to IMGUR, In the old days, We could copy and paste here straight from google. But either this place, Or google stopped us doing that, Made me really mad..... Grrrrrrr ;-)

Thanks Craig! Will do so. And thanks for the info Dave, I had a feeling they would do that. It's never easy working with google docs etc so I wouldn't imagine they would make photo sharing easier either.

Amen to that. Those who put badges where they don't belong are no better. I have not tried to make my Fusion an RS or an ST, but I see AMG and M badges on rank-and-file Mercedes and BMWs frequently, and not on the cars with sport appearance packages from the manufacturers. In other words, they are glued on by the owner to gain 1 or 2 horsepower.

Wouldn't say its offensive. It's just silly to do on a FWD sedan with no power. Mugen Intega - love it, new civic - the design is competing. I mean I get it, its your own car so you can do what you want with it but at least take off the STI logo.

Same here, Sam. To make matters worse, someone hit the back of my car at the supermarket and left a scratch in my bumper. The guy who takes out my dents and does micro body repairs is going to get to know me really well. Grrrr...

They're great, a lot of cult classic cars. MKII Jag, Holden Sandman, Ferrari 166 mm, Ford Woody. Oh and a Reliant Regal van, aka 3 wheeler!
