Has any manufacturer produced a 1:18 version of the Spyker C8 Spyder or Laviolette? I can only find 1:43 at the moment

Seconding above comments, I'd happily pay 200,- for a high quality C8 Laviolette in Orange, grey w/orange, red, blue...

Is the Autoart or Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP400 better? Trying to decide between both brands

Shape is less correct for AUTOart although no model is perfect of course. Newer Kyosho Ousia better shape but not full opening.

from what i read, the autoart shape is closer to the real thing. the kyosho shape is closer to our imagination. don't know about the more recent resin versions though.

Do any of them have correct windows ?
What I mean is, on a real car the windows are not flat, did anyone replicate them properly on a model ?

Hahaha that'd be a cool day when the eBay buyer's name turns out to be "Horacio Pagani" :D

Who knows, he might even be a member on here or Diecast Society undercover! Also explains why the AUTOart Pagani's are so great: I bet he's thrilled to be making high end fully opening replicas of his own cars! He must be in close contact with the model brands overseeing things

Switching from Apple laptop to PC laptop, any advice to convert .HEIC files to JPEG? Just transferred photos from my iPhone to the new HP, and it won't allow me to open the file, and the extensions I've downloaded either don't work or leave a God awful watermark

Import all your photos to Photos on the Macbook (if not already done) then select them all and just drop them in any folder (external drive for example). They will be in .jpg

That's right! I remember seeing that video and realizing it was you who made it. I actually gave him my 1:64 Vision GT since it's one of his favorite cars, and he was super excited about it and said he'd put it with his other models!

I'm in a similar situation. It's not the models on display but the boxes in teh wardrobes that make me feel crowded. Purge time. The account looks good for it and there are some great models coming!

I'm really starting to get hooked with 1970's Porsche racing, in particular with the Porsche 917, Porsche 935's. If the trend continues, I may have to finally start adding race cars to the collection...

There is something magical about the Porsche era from the 906/908 through the 917 to the 934/935/936.

I've never driven any of them, and raced against 911's, but you have to love what Porsche did in that era.

I watched it right after the 959 one last night! Wow what an incredible car to own. Plus. I'm not sure if any of you are watch people, but he was also wearing the new ceramic Rolex Daytona, which is almost impossible to get now

that was really interesting. Although aware it's a masterpiece, I've kinda overlooked the 959. Might be time for me to learn more about them :)

If an item on AmiAmi says 'orders closed', will they ever be offered for sale again?

Sometimes. For example, regular issue Tomica will typically be available again once they're actually in stock. Limited edition items, like limited first-run colors on Tomica, will almost never be available again.

What's it like ordering from CK if you live in the states? Do you get tracking, have to pay customs, etc?

Update on CK order: after several emails they finally responded; tracing the lost order will take up to SIX WEEKS---I had my credit card company delete the charge as I'm not going to wait that amount of time while they keep my money--it should also be noted that if you have a defective model from them you will have to return it at your expense if you live in the US. Lesson learned.

Now the question is, should I pounce on the TSM Pagani Zonda F for $135 (a steal imo) even though I'm usually against resin? Or wait for the off chance autoart will make an opening model?

I've got this same question right now...my plan was to get the TSM until I saw that Almost Real has also announced their own Zonda F. Now I'm just waiting to see if something actually comes of it or not. Autoart is not in the question at all at this point, unfortunately, they have never shown any interest in the Zonda F or S.

I ordered the Topspeed Zonda F and should have it soon. I will post real pics of it when I get it. You could buy it now, and if a better version comes out, sell the Topspeed version.

Is the new trend on eBay: "Sellers not leaving feedback for buyers"? 4 in a row haven't left me any feedback and I'm starting to get quite upset

I've noticed that most buyers are idiots! I always contact them when I sell & say that it has been sent out etc & offer the tracking if it's going abroad.
Most of them don't reply & that's that.. You'd think that they would reply & leave feedback.

I sell most of my stuff on eBay through Best Offer, and usually have an exchange with the buyer during the negotiation process. And then I ship, see that they received it via tracking, and they go cold mike. I chalk it off to Millennials. :)
