    Hi Alex,
I previously saw your post using NPR (non-acetone) to remove the stripe from your 930 turbo. So, I decided to give it a try. However, the results were not as expected. As you can see in the picture below, the stripe could not be completely removed. There is always a light-colored spot on the car. Do you have any suggestions for a solution?

i would try again with a clean cloth/paper. it usually takes a few times because the paper/cloth cant carry all the paint, and instead will smudge it around when full. change to new cloth/paper when it smudges.
be careful around edges like the fuel cap and door panels, because the paint there is thin. also be careful to not use nail polish remover on plastic parts, like the side indicator and side mirrors.

dont rush, because rush jobs is likely to more mess something up. sometimes i polish the model after removing stuff, but it's not always necessary.

Hi Alex I saw your old post on the Hot Wheels F458 Challenge in white where you removed the decals. Did you remember what you used to remove those decals without damaging the paint?
Is the decal behind the rear engine cover glass applied on plastic or metal parts?

    Thanks! :)

im pretty sure the engine cover is made of metal too, but i have to check it to confirm.

I had to shelve the RC Racing for the last year to collect up these BBR Ferrari's. But bought a Yokomo BD9 1/10 Touring Car for this indoor season.

Go for it. I uploaded my first video 3 years ago, just to give it a go, and things have grown a lot. I am now getting free stuff from just sharing my hobby, plus a modest income from Youtube.

Alex, you can probably give it a little bath without taking it apart etc.

the 997 Turbo is easy to take apart, and it was needed to be able to access the dirty parts. i had to even wash the interior..
i bought it used, and i think it has been played with. the wheels had lots of hair rolled in, and hair and dust everywhere in the undercarriage

in some pictures it looks ok, in some it is very hard to overlook. i can live with a certain degree of mismatch, but it is hard to determine how it actually is in person. i guess i have to buy one the ever find out :)

I had the same gripe before buying it, when I first saw it I thought to myself this mismatch is terrible but after taking it out of the box and displaying it, it's actually not that bad, especially under bright light. You won't regret buying one :D
