Hi everybody,
Years after I announced it,I'm finally gonna start two new topics with all the projects I've been and I will be involved in.
First of all, I wanted to ask for help here before starting a new JDM sacrilege project (yeah, sounds good, I'm already asking without giving in exchange)

Soooo... I was all hyped with my new pieces and the not-given-enough-rest-after-arriving-home-before-trying-to-open-it-alive Autoart Toyota 2000gt. All screws gone. Time to separate body and chassis... But nope. It doesnt come out. The front is still attached. How TF can I open it without breaking it?
Grazie Mille my friends. I promise loads of wips and pics soon
Sooo... Here is the pic... I guess

Have you tried to gently pop it off with a screw driver ?

Sorry for dissapearing, guys.

I tried that long ago, but I was afraid of breaking it as it was just bending the whole front. I might try that again soon. Shame I live 2000km away from my workshop so I can only work on miniatures twice a year....

Popping off plastic cover pieces is SOP. Both AutoArt and UT are legend for hiding chassis mount screws that way.

And you are correct, usually you will have one mounting stalk that breaks or releases in a manner that will facilitate replacement once you are done.
