Kind of off topic, but I would like to ask if anyone has any experience removing some type of "super glue" from a resin model with out damaging the surface the glue has adhered to. Not sure if there is paint on this model as well. This is my first resin model. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Best thing to remove paint from resin? I'm wanting to go back and fix some issues with my Legende Miniatures Mirage GT and repaint in the process

Has anyone hydrodipped carbon fiber onto parts? If so, where did you get the film for 1/18 scale

I haven't, but have thought about it. Don't think any 1:18 scale film exists.

legende-miniatures, steph-replicars are the only ones I can think of off the top. Then there is ebay, where you will occasionally find random wheels from other models, Peako wheels were available at one point, and Hobby Design wheels

I wish someone would do a low or mid range 1/18 Huracan Spyder. Hard to stomach cutting up an MR for a project

Been gone for a bit, is Hot Wheels no longer doing new 1/18 Ferraris?

Unfortunately, yes. Hot Wheels no longer has the license to Ferrari. That license was acquired by Maisto/Burago a few years ago, though BBR and MR still make 1:18 Ferrari.

Ouch. Yeah I was wondering where the Pista and F8 models were. Shame there isn't more of a mid range

With Inkjet printers you need to clear coat after printing to seal the ink, laser printers you don't. There is clear & white waterslide paper as most printers can't print white colour so it uses the white from the background paper.

The paper is also different for inkjet & laser printers so make sure you buy the right one.

First time ever I'm hearing about a model produced in 1:18 but not in 1:24.

It's ALWAYS the other way around.

yeah I just wanted a finished model. as weird as it sounds, I like modifying finished diecast models with the kits made for plastic models. I just don't have the patience to do plastic model kits

Yes. They're plastic and are glued on the corners and a screw on front/back.
