Streaming services want content, so now racing is the latest scripted genre; Netflix already premiered "The Crew" about NASCAR shenanigans. IMSA and IndyCar are next. A series about IMSA in the 80's, including its drug-smugglers (bet they LOVE that!), is being prepped.

The Crew is on Netflix. While not the best TV show around it is fun to watch as a relaxing change of pace from all the intense and dramatic TV shows.

The IMSA program is only in the development stage and has no network affiliation yet and a IndyCar series is even further from reality, only being on the organization's consideration list, probably after seeing NASCAR's show making it to the screen.
