Norev 1:18 Renault Alpine A110-50 2012

To celebrate the iconic A110's 50th anniversary, Renault introduced the Alpine A110-50, a concept translating the most characteristic design features of the original A110 in a modern way. The Alpine A110-50 adopts the new bold and confident Renault front-end look which will be translated to future production cars.

The Alpine A110-50 is empowered by the renowned expertise of Renault Sport Technologies. It benefits from the experience gained from the racing Mégane Trophy by using the same technical platform. Its tubular chassis has been stiffened and engine-wise, the Alpine A110-50 runs a Renault V4Y engine block, a 3.5 litre 24-valve 400hp V6 mounted in a mid-rear position.

This Alpine concept also took its sportsmanship from Renault's experience in Formula 1, like Computational Fluid Dynamics, a cutting-edge technology used to research and design air flow. Or its F1-style transmission, with a semi-automatic six-speed sequential gearbox. The gearbox is fitted longitudinally behind the engine and incorporates a limited-slip differential (discs and ramps) with adjustable pre-loading.

Norev 1:18 Peugeot Onyx 2012

A masterpiece in matte black, the Onyx’s most striking features are the two huge swathes of polished copper that adorn both sides. Each side is made from a single piece of copper and, other than extensive polishing, the material is unprotected from the elements. The goal here is that the copper panels will change and evolve over time with oxidation.

All other body panels are made from carbon fiber and the car weighs just 1,100 kilograms (2,425 pounds). The lightweight  car is propelled by an hybrid powertrain. At the heart of the car is a 3.7-liter V8 that’s good for 600 horsepower, and it’s modulated via a six-speed sequential gearbox. The conventional engine is augmented with lithium-ion battery-powered electric system that adds another 80 horses to the mix.

The interior of the Peugeot Onyx concept is nearly as impressive as the body and powertrain, with a single, neutral-colored, floor-to-ceiling material that looks a lot like wall-to-wall carpeting. Seats are barely discernable from the non-seat portion of the interior.

Norev 1:18 Citroen GT 2008

The GT by Citroën  was specially created, designed and produced for the video game Gran Turismo 5.
Three versions of the car are available in game: Road version (510 hp (380 kW; 517 PS), Race version (615 hp (459 kW; 624 PS) and Concept version (793 hp (591 kW; 804 PS, however, the real car uses a modified version of the Ford Modular V8 engine, producing 646 hp (482 kW; 655 PS).The car's weight is 1,400 kg (3,086 lb).

In June 2009, Citroën confirmed plans to produce an extremely limited number of GTs for sale to the public. Only 6 will be built, each costing $2.1 million. In July 2010, rumours that production was suspended began to surface..

The car's exterior design was made by Takumi Yamamoto , a Japanese designer from Jean-Pierre Ploué's Style Citroën design team. A press release published on the  Gran Turismo official website describes the Citroën and Polyphony Digital collaboration as a joint effort to create a cart hat could exist both in the virtual as in the real world. The concept car was carefully designed to fit what the gamers will actually see in the game and Citroën’s head office in Paris agreed to start the production process and manufacture the real car.

I do like that Onyx what a color combo, I read about it in top gear and the photos were stunning, blinding but stunning. Cool trio you have here and good job with the photos. I wish Norev did more cars that interest me. one question, does the onyx open up at all.

Nice group, too.

They make a nice, exotic group together, sometimes it is fun to buy something different.
Thanks for the compliment, Preisman

I also read about the Onux in TopGear magazine, it’s nice that Norev makes the model.
The Onyx is a sealed model, nothing opens, this is the same with the Alpine.
Thanks for the compliment about the photos, Smokeyfan

If they made the Onyx in a bigger scale, it would be a cool, high tech car for Tony Stark ;-)

I thought the Onyx deserved a better photo shoot.

I really admire and appreciate Norev's effort in making these wonderful French concept cars available in diecast! They're gorgeous and unique! Great drawings by the way!

I agree it is nice to see a manufacturer make something different.
It is the same in my collection, which mainly consists of Ferrari/Lambo/Porsche/Mercedes but these concept cars are a nice refreshing touch.
And thanks for the compliment.
