Wow, nice to see a lot if interest in muscle.

I purchased the 5 window Ford. The color looks amazing and I am really excited about it. I also want to get a Chevelle, but not sure what color. The orange is eye candy, but the green looks so good.

Also, anyone do the Tom'S Garage deal thing? Is it worth the $15. In reality, $15 is not much, but just want an opinion.

Yeap I do the Tom's Garage membership. You get 4 $25.00 Gift Certificates,  and you can purchase the limited release Tom's Garage models. Of course the gift Certificates are only good if they release models that you're interested in. So far I've already used 2 of my certificates this year so it's saved me $35.00 off of two models ($50.00 in certificates - $15.00 membership fee).

Thanks, I plan of getting a Chevelle and maybe one more Hot Rod. So, I guess I should get the membership.

It was the same with AUTOart, that pale blue and red were the 2 worst colour choices ever.
If acme do a black, grey or navy blue then I'm interested.

Lane (who owns the mold) did the '67 GT500 in black.  I don't think there are any improvements on the ACME/GMP labeled cars.

I did Tom's Garage for one year (maybe 2007)...where for $25 you got the stuff that gto70 mentioned plus the 1993 Mustang LX5.0 Feature Car.

The bad news is that ACME has some but not all of the GMP molds.  I don't know the whole story, but they no longer have the excellent Plymouth GTX/RR and Ford Fairlane molds.  However, the good news is that they still have the 1932 Ford, 1970-72 Pontiac GTO/LeMans, etc.  They also have Lane molds, including the 1965 and 1970 Chevrolet Malibu/Chevelle/El Camino series, the 1970-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442 series, 1967-68 Shelbys, and the 1967-68 Pontiac Firebird.

I recently bought two ACME releases based on Lane/Exact Detail molds- the 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS-6 and the 1972 Oldsmobile 442 W-30.  Both have excellent quality.  Unfortunately, my Chevelle has a couple of nicks in the passenger side door, but I am stuck with it as it is one of 200 models.  My 442 is excellent; overall workmanship on both cars is just as good if not a bit better than the earlier Lane releases.  There are also a few extra paint details here and there as well.

I never bought any of the Deuce models as I tend to focus on postwar cars, but they are very tempting!  :drool5:

I signed up that year and got the model as well. If they did that every year it'd be worth the cost and then some. Sadly, though you can't blame them, they do not. Beyond that I didn't personally get much value out of the membership, but I also found no use for the birthday or welcome gift certificates they provided. Those alone are/were valued at more than the cost of the membership, so if you can find something you'd like to buy that's actually in stock, it should be an easy decision.

I'm thinking of getting the RR, Fairlane, and possibly the Street Fighter Camaro.

I'm also really glad they changed the Fairlane from Triple Black to Black on Black(no vinyl top). I think they car will look way better now!

I also hope for the Mustang to be a Hatch. Best looking body style for the fox bodies in my opinion. I think it's unlikely though, since GMP already made a 93' Cobra hatch.
