Thank you all for your interest

As soon as we have taken pictures, I will post them

The 1933 Maybach model is superb. It is one stage above the Mercedes equivalent.
(I know that Mercedes made both, but the Maybach has more class)
The detail is incredible, as mentioned on other topics, everything seem to move or open.

It is a black open top car with a fine red keyline at the top of the bodywork, we have already printed the flags that go on over the front wings, we are now actively looking for a suitable figure to go in it.  if not h***er himself, then another high ranking officer would do.

I got it from www.scale18.com , Kevin and Irene who runs it has a very large stock of cars, even with post and packaging and the conversion from US dollars to Canadian dollars, the prices are cheaper than my local shops, which are getting too few and far between

This is my first post, so please be gentle with me.

My father has been given an 1-18 scale of a 1933 Maybach (Hitlers car),
absolutely beautifully made model.

He did wonder if there was any figures available of the man himself.

Ideally for standing in the back of the car.  The only figures I seem to be able to find are German Army figures, but they don't seem to be quite right.

Hopefully someone amongst you guys will be able to point us in the right direction

Thanx

Thanks me old Mate :cheers for digging up my first post :giggle . I have bookmarked that website, definitely going to get those figures, they will be perfect.

The only problem seems to be that I'm going to have to do a bigger diarama. :happy Going to have to get some ideas from other posts.

Al - beware - I might have to look up your first post :giggle

PS, just had an awful thought, wouldn't be funny to see other 'first' posts

Thanks again - Oxford Busboy

That would be a good thread Ken. I think my first post was to complain about Target not selling me a car that was on the shelf but it was not supposed to be.

I think that thread/post has been nuked a long time ago. :giggle

Good luck on your diorama. :cheers

Here is a thought, how about re-creating the Indiana Jones scene where they meet up in a crowd.
