What do you guys use to build custom roll cages?

I've not made a roll cage myself but have seen modders use the single solid core copper house wiring, as this can be easily soldered.....
....I have also seen people use fine drinking straws, or the tubing used for WD-40 nozzles..you can put wire inside these to shape them...
....Plastic sprues from model kits can also be used if the correct profile - can be quite easily bent and glued.....

Some good ideas there. Saw some rods another modeller was using but can't find them on eBay or remember the name of them now

Try Evergreen or Plastruct for scale model plastic tubing. Anything plastic or metal the right size can be used. Plastic tubing with a metal rod inserted in it can be bent to shape easily.
Search in the Custom Resources area as there is info there too.

Custom Diecast, Just DO IT!
