I called to order a model and was informed that CD has been sold to a new corporate owner and their warehouse has been relocated. I didn't get the name of the new company owner, but the CD website address remains the same.

I start this topic because CD was my primary retailer for 1/18 diecast for a long time, and the loss of being able to purchase from a retailer that I had established a personal relationship with is now gone. I know that there are other retailers around that are trustworthy, but the relationship and history that came about over time is still lost.

I ordered a model from the new owners and I will update the topic if any issues ensue. If anyone has any experience with the new owners please let us know.
It's just not fair I can't afford everything I want.

That is a shame I also bought some from them. I would always talk with a gentleman named Adam who was very helpful, and honest, good seller.

My understanding was that CD was owned by Adam and Eli who were brothers. I always spoke with Adam or Eli whenever I called.  They were always honest, helpful, and provided excellent customer service.
