Starting to see these emerging although they seem to be sealed diecasts at 94 Euros which is a bit steep to be taking the plunge just yet.

if Norev would use metal mesh instead of the solid 'mesh', it would lift their models quite a bit in detail level. it would suit the new Mercedes' well as they have the big intakes.
anyway, they doesnt really produce many interesting models to me. but i had hoped they would make something new and interesting, like some Mercedes AMG's or Audi S/RS models.

What's up with all the Norev models with "balloon" tires. Why can't they get that right?

The blue at least does a good job of hiding the slightly too 'froggie' headlights and the oversized black cushion pad on top of the front bumper of the norev 911's.  Sill needs a set of Maisto speedster wheels.  Can't believe how off they continue to be about tires.

Maisto had the exclusive licence on that one. A decent one would be nice though, or an AMG one.

CMC would be nice. . . I have CMC's SLR and man. . . That would be perfect. . . In my opinion the best looking S class. . . AUTOart would also be good, but CMC would be the best, it would be just like a real car.

Aside from the SLR, CMC don't make modern day cars. Sadly, there's no chance of them doing it.

I know. . . But, it would be nice. . . AUTOart would do good job, but CMC would make it to be exactly as that car deserves to be. Unlike all other S classes it had something in it. Some timeless elegance and shine. W140 is just bigger W124, W221 and W222 are just big and full of themselves, but W220. . . Is a true gentleman. . . S65 AMG would be perfect for CMC. . . Exoto might do it, but I really would not like. After 5 Exotos and all of them having issues with paint, I really don't have wish to buy from them anything else. . .

I just ordered the blue one, needed something other then white with all my other red/white/black 80's hero cars.  I have both gate and maisto donor tires at the ready. The maistos are properly wide but a bit clunky, the gate 996 tires fit perfectly on the rims and are even lower profile. The white does look really good though. The last few colors have been pretty lame.

Edited, here it is with Maisto tires:

Not much new from Norev these days it seems, but I do like the AMG GT and the CLA Shooting Brake, so I guess I'll try to get them before too long.  Can't believe they won't fix those off-road tires on the Porsche Turbo models.  :dunno:

A Black S-class coupe,Met Blue W205 C-class,Met Blue X-166 GL class are on it's way.

There is a possibility Mercedes will still get Norev to make it's re-branded SUV lineup in the future like the GLC,GLS,GLE,GLE-Coupe.
