OK my DX friends, the time has come to recognise the Diecast X Change member of the year for 2014.

Any member here can be nominated.

Members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty?

Any member of staff who you thinks deserves the recognition for all their hard work?

Any one who has helped you out, spare parts, decals, finding or sourcing models or parts?

Any member who makes even the slightest bit or difference around here?

Or just general information that has helped you out?

Please feel free to nominate them.

Dont be one of those members who just comes along and looks at the thread and thinks, Nah, maybe someone else will nominate such and such. Please get involved. It only takes a few minutes guys.

Thank you to every single member who will take their time to pop by and actually make a difference here.

Now get those members nominated.

:occasion14:

I've nominated him once or twice for member of the month, but he was actually member of the year, at least for me as between the two of us more than 20 models changed hands, and some more are still going to!!
Besides all the help with the models, he is an extremely nice guy, very helpful, has been quite active on the forum and has great prices too!
He also did some modding, of which I often remember the 911 GT3 painted in Gulf colors :drool5: !!

My vote goes for .............................    audirs6   !!!!!  :occasion14: :occasion14: :occasion14: :occasion14:
"If you have the money to buy an AUTOart, why don't you buy an Exoto?"

Wanted alive, reward on delivery:

Exoto Alfetta 159M #22
AUTOart Ford Mustang 1968 Bullitt
AUTOart Nissan GTR R35 silver with optional matte black wheels (code #77391)
Kyosho Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé blue

The Collector for me. James saw that I was ordering a BBR LaFerrari and informed me of a discount that saved me a lot of money. Then he thoroughly answered all my questions about international ordering, VAT taxes and shipping. Really showed the spirit of this site, and got me hooked. Now I'm an ordering pro! Ha. Honestly though, there's so many members on this site that deserve a shout out from my year stay here.

^ Thanks for the nomination Lars! :occasion14:
For me there's an unsung hero that has done so much behind the scenes here at DX over the last year, to re-organise unclutter and make it far more accessible IMO.  He's also our technical guru and has sorted out so many technical muddles for me.....and that's our Matthew, the DXer formerly known as Bibiltect,  - but now 'born again' as VeeDub Matt !!!.. :adore:

I Nominate Dave7872,he has been a big help to me this past year.I think i speak for a lot of people on here when i say i look up to him because he would help anyone and is so positive over situations even though he has had a nightmare few months himself. When he comes on line it's as though the community Gels together,he is one of "the Glue people" on here.
Thanks Wes for the Vote. :yahoo:

There are some real upstanding citizens of DX, off the top of my head Dave, Eddy, Darren, Koen, JRP, Stu, CreepyVanMan, and a few others whose display names are too long for me to remember properly :) People who share their passion, share their stories, their photos. And of course the person I have learnt the most from: Craig.

No matter who "wins" the contest, you guys are all champs and have my appreciation and support.

And Dave, a special thanks to you for arranging this contest, more so since you are doing this whilst dealing with your daughter's hospitalization. That in itself speaks volumes about your dedication and I don't have words enough to thank you :eusa_clap: :10:  .

Cheers guys, more power to you and to DX :occasion14:

EDIT/PS: Dave, I just realized, we should have another contest: whose Porsche 917 Gulf signature is cooler, yours or mine. Heheee just kidding :giggle:. I win this of course :yahoo: :danke:

There are a few members  who I think are worthy, but it's too hard for me to pick one. So I think we should open it up to multiple choices as there are a lot of stand up members on here.

Sound good ?

F**k you Photobucket.
