Eddy, I have probably not expressed myself correctly. I have not assambled the kit. This is factory assambled model - I have bought it as factory finished model.

Oh... :adore:  anyway.. :nice:

.......I've googled, but can't find a factory assembled version....so where did you source yours?? :dunno:

I have mine, the same as the Munch model, from Japan Yahoo auctions - I buy there now.
But the factory completed model is difficult to find now. The kit and the completed model differ in the front of their boxes as shown below. I have found that Hobby Link Japan accepts back orders for the model. You can try there.

This is the front of the box of the kit (photo taken from internet):

A new addition in my collection, in fact, it is my 10th Minichamps 1/12 bike model: legendary 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 "Super Four", made by Minichamps, which is claimed to be the first real superbike. When real bike was developped, it has factory code "New York Steak". The model is really great. Here are photos:

An outstanding collection of classics Dusan! Not really a fan of the newers models, but those oldies  :drool5:

My top 3 still holds the 2 Katana's and that new/classic Norton.

Love the big Kwaka Dusan! :drool5:    All in all this (and the smaller 750Z2) is very nicely done by Minichamps - my only gripe with this particular model being that they missed out on half of the front brake caliper!!!  :dunno: With all that speeeeeed wouldn't want to be the 1:12 rider!!! :nice:

I think he means that the brake caliper is only on one side of the brake disk.

I never noticed this on pictures until he wrote it.

Very nice model though, the metallic paint looks good and the spoked wheels are great too.

Exactly, but it's not consistent throughout the range and Minichamps are not the only ones to do this...vis a vis my Wits Z2,... :gaah:

Thank you both for explanation.
Missing brake caliper in the inside part of the brake disk is very often feature in 1/18 car models.

Here are other two new 1/12 bike models in my collection.
The first one is 1976 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans Mk.I made by Minichamps. The model, the same as real bike, is really great. Here are photos of the model:

It is time for presentation of the new 1/12 bike model in my collection. Now, this is my holy grail which is a great model and was also a superb real bike: 1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV, made by Wit's, also know as Kawasaki 750SS. The photos:

Eddy,
Yes, it is Wit´s. I was surprised because it is more plastic than diecast. However, it is very nice and rare model now.
I am fiscinated with real bike; when I buy any model (car or bike) I always find information about real vehicle and info about H2 has factinatted me; the key word for this bike is speed and in fact it was the fastest road legal bike produced in 1972. In honour of the bike, the most powerfull factory street legal bike produced now was named - the supercharged Kawaski H2.

Well, I didn't know that about the 1:1 Dusan... :occasion14:   Interesting about the plastic content of the model tho -  I always assumed WITs were affiliated to MTP (as they came out about the same time and they covered similar subject matter)...and they're largely metal... :dunno:

Two new aditions to my 1/12 bike collections are here.

The first one is 2001 Ducati 996 R made by Minichamps. Probably all of you know real bike. The model is great and rather heavy. Here are photos:

And here it is with a newer Ducati, the Panigale S:

The second new addition is even better item, 1932 Brough Superior SS100 made again by Minichamps. Real bike is a piece of motorcycle history and the model is perfect. It is claimed that it is the bike used by T.A. Lawrence but I cannot confirm it because I have not find any photo of exactly the same bike, let alone with T.A. Lawrence. Here are photos of the model:

Hi both!
Jarik, to say true, I have not buyed a 1/18 scale bike model for a long time. Perhaps, there are no new bike models in 1/18 scale which would attract my attention. Or am I wrong? BTW, the admin (mairandeddy) knows my 1/18 scale bike collection too.
