Some great machines there Eddy!! :eusa_clap:  The Hurricane is my favourite  :yahoo:

Well thank you Craig - as I said earlier, the Hurricane was my very first 1/12 bike fix, and also still remains my favourite - it's just such a fascinating and well executed model - with those single side exhausts, number plates, angled handlebars....it goes on.. .....  Oh, and tax disc!!! :drool5: :10:

Eddy, I don't know that much about bikes...but I do like seeing your post and those interesting HUGE figures that you have to go with them! What would be really cool is if you and "Driving her Mad" put your 1/12th scale bikes and cars together and took some Awesome pics!!! :yahoo:  That could be a plan right there fellas!! :occasion14:

The Californian Godfather  :yahoo:

Allways loved those classic black&white Califs! Only got to drive a III (no T3). Excellent ride due to the combined braking system.
And the model looks great.

And an excellent engine for stunning customs, even nowadays!

Do you mean 'sixy' or 'SEXY' Sven?? :giggle: I reckon the latter - the CBX certainly has a sweet tone of its own!! :agreed: :drool5:

Now here's another sexy beast - from AUTOart this time....actually IMHO AHEAD of its time (1978! :nice: )

....first SOOKY up....and a Godzilla of a bike - the monstrous Suzuki GSX 1100 Katana!!!

Here's the 360..
Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 01e.jpg   352.65K   0 downloads

Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 02e.jpg   420.83K   0 downloads

Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 03e.jpg   405.85K   0 downloads

Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 05e.jpg   380.95K   0 downloads

Now here's a bonus....check out the 'real' (OK rubberised! ) chain...that rotates with the wheels!!! :10:
Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 04e.jpg   439.97K   0 downloads

and lets not forget the futuristic 'flight-deck'...
Attached File  SUZUKI NINJA 06e.jpg   256.54K   0 downloads

Now this was like an alien invader - certainly back in the 1978 UK biker scene - when it was loved and hated in equal measure!

What do you think??.....(Comments invited :yahoo: )

OK no comments about the 'aftermarket' rear shock-absorber!!! :gaah: ....just noticed it!!

The Katana truly was a UDO at it's time (unidentified driving object)!

Even now this bike draws my attention like a friggin' magnet!

I drove a GS1100L when i was in my 20s, which had a lot of common parts.

I still have one of those giant 1:6 Tamiya building kits somewhere (no black hole for me when i retire :giggle: )

Thanks Dusan! :occasion14:  In fact it it was your Yoshimura pics that drew me to the Katana models in the first place - especially that 'customisable' version....
However it was the refinement of the AUTOart - especially re: the carburettors. the 'real' chain, and the photo-etched brake discs that swung it for me..... :yahoo:
