a lot of you guys have asked to see the Ferrari F1 cars which came from the factory, I managed to get this one down but the two others are well buried so I will just show this one for now. It's by far the best as it has a full engine bay. The others don't as they were wind tunnel models.
The scale is 1/8 and what you can't see is the over the top detail. The exhausts for instance have the titanium rainbow effect on them which happens to real thing from excessive heat, even the discs have been scared to emulate wear.
When you look closely at the body work you can see the carbon fibre weave underneath, the weave is to perfect scale but it is cool that it is there.
I guess the thing that makes me giggle a little is, that it's technically not a diets so should not really be posted here. But then again the real thing is carbon so I suppose it's fitting.
Any way I'll try the other two up here soon, they are 1/8 scale too and are protocol in the full Marlboro livery.

sorry for the spelling mistakes guys, you'd think I never went to school lol.
It was meant to say the carbon weave is NOT to scale

I'm not sure who did the base model, I know amalgam do the wind tunnel cars (they did the other 2 I will try to post soon) so it most likely could be one of theirs. It came in a blank box and on the base just as you see it. I have a paper with the names of the guys that worked it up and and the date for authentication.
Thats all I have history wise.

That is one heck of a model Avocadoman!! As an F1 fan and a Schumi fan and a preference for fully-opening models this ticks all the boxes for me! Can you please post more - and higher-resolution - photos please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? :nice: I'd love to see details of the engine including the titanium rainbow effect on the exhausts and the worn brake discs.
