-----------------------

TopSpeed Model is a new brand from the makers of TSM-Model, producing entry level 1/18 scale replicas for collectors with a strong balance between price and quality.

By utilizing our resources and experience in the model industry, TopSpeed has a goal of delivering great value. Using the latest in 3D scanning technology allows us to minimize development costs and decrease the cost of producing accurate models for collectors. By focusing our efforts on popular subject material we are able to spread out development costs over a larger production, and this also allows for additional savings when producing related models that share common parts. We aim to offer the perfect balance between price and quality and use our years of manufacturing experience to the direct benefit of collectors worldwide.

This new brand will offer a wide range of selections, with initial offerings featuring modern sports cars such as the new Acura NSX and the Ford GT. With a product range including automotive heavyweights such as Jaguar, McLaren and Alfa Romeo, TopSpeed will offer something for everyone.

GT Spirit 90-100eu befre shipping and those will be around 135eu, thats quite more expensive than GT Spirit and solid grills do not add to the model. They will not achive quality/price ratio of GT Spirit and probably no othe manufacturer will in near future, judging by Kyosho budget line. But Macs are always welcomed.

GT Spirit's come down to 80 eur when you buy directly & build up each level of loyalty, Gold is the highest level (I think) which 20 eur off per item.

F**k you Photobucket.

Yeah, it's a real shame about those grilles - there are some exciting models in that announcement, but no excuse for solid grilles on sealed models that will sell for around £100.  Aside from that the NSX looks good so it's a missed opportunity as far as I'm concerned.

Those are probably will cost around $160-180 shipped and considering solid grills - not my cup of tea. For same reason I'm done with Minichamps, there suppose to be the limit for impudence, asking more and more for doing less.
Simple fact no other companies, besides GTS, cannot realize. By making it resin and sealed, there already more than enough implemented shortcuts, have to be some compromise, the good side, besides a bit reduced price.

I might get a jag, but I would still rather have opening features and diecast at $175 than sealed and resin at $135

I am going to wait and see if they release the NSX in Nouvelle Blue Pearl, which I expect they will do next Spring closer to the production start time. Hopefully by then they will have fixed the issues with the grill and anything else that shows up in the first release. I have mixed feelings about the Ford GT. I am glad to have access to a 1/18 scale in blue so soon but I really wanted one with opening parts. I guess that will not happen until Autoart gets around to it. Hopefully AUTOart will be able to keep the price in line with their latest re-release of the original GT around $150.00 or less.

If Autoart does the Gt it will likely be plastic (ABS) and over $200

awwwww are you not feeling happy buddy? :giggle:    :Jka: :Jka:

If that is entry level GT Spirit then I would say every manufacturer should take some notes....a lot of notes. I will wait for the prices.....the prices will speak the truth.

Front wheel on the 675 protrudes too much, TSM is not a company that I get excited about new stuff from anymore, the QC on these will be crap also because they are pushing these out the door.
