Mclarenman50, you are asking the same question many of us want an answer to. I was hoping TSM's release of the 1/43rd Chaparrals (including the 2G!) was such an omen, but no word either way since. And, frankly, they would probably be resin, which wouldn't come close in appeal to what Exoto was offering.

The Replicarz 2K, on the other hand, is not far from realization. The website says "second quarter 2016", which we're already in, but still gives them until the end of August to release. It's on my list with the 1967 STP Paxton Turbine (which looks fantastic and has plenty of opening/removable panels and details despite being resin).
I just want someone whose baggage goes with mine [from "Rent"]...

The CMC Ferrari 312P from 1969. In my eyes, the best looking (and probably sounding) Racecar of all time.

Have you guys seen that limited-200 Midnight Blue 250 GTO by CMC?

I can't find it for under $1,200

Too much $$$, but I would probably consider it my 'holy grail' right now.

Started this hobby in late 2015. All grails have been acquired.

At this point there probably will not be any more grails or anything I'd personally label as such.

Right now, it's still this one, AUTOart Tommi Makinen 'Night Race' Subaru Impreza, there's one on ebay at £500 - which is nuts! Hence why it's still there!

Most of mine have been cars that passed through my hands and have since moved on.

The CMC Ferrari Transporter will always be my ultimate Holy Grail as it took so much work to get one again after selling my first.

Posted Image

At the moment it's the Autoart Lancia Delta S4 Monte Carlo version. Again, owned it once... :gaah:

I got most of my holy grails, like the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut, XJ13, and others that I got before they got really expensive on ebay like the 33 Stradale and E type Coupe
BUT the Ferrari and Maserati transporter are indeed amazing models that I would love to have but I dont have any race cars to go with them as I dont collect race cars
As for the supercars, I just cant keep up with all the Frontiart/Avanstyle/BBR models that I want, theyre just too expensive :gaah:

Having bought most of mine by now, I think at the very top of my list would be this 1:43 masterpiece by Davis & Giovanni.  Impossible to find in the correct "Stage 2" version.

Can't even imagine how expensive this will be if it ever surfaces.
