I see Cartima have in stock a new 956 by Spark. The #2 Stefan Bellof 956 as raced at the Nordschleife in 1983 as part of the World Sportscar Championship (what is the WEC today). Limited run of 300 models

At last we have the 1/18 Bellof version. I might be tempted to buy that one.

Its a iconic car with history.
However the price tag that's putting me of.
Dont know if this will be the new spark pricing meaning that i hope this is a one off because of the limited edition factor.

Spark have released the 1956 Lotus XI driven by Colin Chapman at Le Mans, picture from the web as ever:

Posted Image

Looks a bit more accurate than the previous BoS version - which seems to be based on how the car is now, as opposed to how it ran in '56, and has a couple of mistakes.  The Spark also has rivets in the bodywork, which the BoS doesn't.  Anyone planning on adding this?  I think the XI is a beautiful car, but the Aston Martin DBR1 is probably my least favourite Spark model, so I'm not sure on adding this one until I've seen some better photos.

The Audis never ran with those rear wheels during the race. A shame Spark didn't change them as they've spent the effort updating the changes around the R18 bodywork from the 2014 car.

The first eBay adds for the Porsche 919 2015 have just come online, but only for the uber-expensive signed version, which is not something I feel I need to pay such a premium for.

Won't be long until the pre-orders for the un-signed car start, got mine for a very reasonable £110 i recall.

I had no idea this was coming out.  It's pretty cool, but I think the only way I'd buy it is if it was the car that ran in the Pirelli World Challenge for Compass 360 Racing.  Actually after posting the image below I just realized it is the previous generation TT, so never mind.

Facelifted version? 991.1 Turbo S DE from GTS costs half of that. Comes with a display case too.

Like I said the GTS DE is a 991.1, so yea it is a different car.

https://ck-modelcars...it/wax02100004/

What I tried to say was the GTS is a lot more affordable(relatively speaking)compare to this 991.2.

The Porsche fans can breathe easy - I had an e-mail from DCL this morning listing the silver GT3 RS at £135, which is their usual (excessive) price for Spark 1/18s.  So, around the £100-£110 mark from sensible webshops.
