Recently EVO magazine released a book of the 100 greatest Supercars. I got it for X mas and I must say it is a very good list, I might have switched a few, but not more than half a dozen. So I got to thinking I would share the list here but then I thought maybe the Guys might like a game instead. So here is what I came up with. There are 100 cars listed in the book, I will give the DX community as many guesses as needed to name the list, but after 25 mistakes I am revealing the ones that were missed. So if you guess one that is not on the list it will count against the 25 strikes.

A few rules and clues

2 guesses per post

After you submit your 2 guesses you cannot submit another guess until I respond to the first two. This prevents someone from putting 50 guesses in and allows more people to get involved.

DO NOT LOOK UP THE LIST OR USE THE BOOK IF YOU HAVE IT!! Because that is a Dochebag move.

Be specific, some cars are listed more than once because there are many great versions, like the 911 for example.

If you are debating between the roadster version or coupe version of a car, the list heavily favors coupes.

The list does not include non street legal cars like the FXX, 599XX, Sesto, and Zonda R.

There are 3 cars from the 60's and the list starts with 1966. 10 cars from the 70's. 9 from the 1980's. 15 from the 90's and the rest are 2000 and up!

I will be responsible for "grading" this game and will do my best to keep up, but like I said please do not post additional guesses until after I respond to your previous post. 2 guesses per post.

And thats it!

Have fun!

959 yes!

CLK GTR no

96 down with one strike! (24 more strikes)

The CLK GTR is one of the few that had me scratching my head a little!

I should also add that this is a very current list with many cars currently in production included.

I will address Eddy firstsince he posted first. Ford GT40 no. Countach yes, but It is not that version. So that is 2 strikes! (OH NO) There are 2 Countach on the list, neither are LP 500S though.

Eric Miura yes, and try to be more specific with Countach, like I said to Eddy there are 2 different versions of Countach.

So 95 to go, but 2 more strikes (23 to go).

458 yes

Viper No and I am not happy about it either, there are no vipers on the list remember specifics will matter.

So 94 to go, one more strike for the Viper, which means we have just 21 strikes left. Better start picking carefully, this list has many of the well known modern supercars on it so focus more on post 2K, eddy's favorite era! LOL

Aventador was already guessed and is on the list.
Diablo and P1 are yes

993 911 is not on the list.

85 to go with 20 incorrect guesses left.

Testarossa makes it 84 to go and Eric could you be more specific, which 911 turbo? There are many, actually 2 different ones made the list.

I'm referring to the original 911 turbo from the 80s which is also called the type 930.  Actually, it would be mid 70s.
